... S'alright?
It's come to my attention that there's a LOT of cool stuff out there in the world, and I'd like to try and put some of it on here for my friends at the wrestlecrap to enjoy.
First up, here's a youtube clip of the inimitable Señor Wences
"No, there's only one genius in this business, and that was Señor Wences! A little lipstick, some hair, and his hand, and the guy had a career for 85-years!" (Stanley Tucci in America's Sweethearts)
Pretty much the perfect line for this act - however, it leaves out the obvious talent there. Señor Wences was the kind of showbiz I absolutely adore, a real trouper - I get the genuine impression that if the electricity went out, the good Señor could sit on the edge of the stage for an hour and run out an act, something that's sorely missing today.
If I could ask for one showbiz career, it would probably be Señor Wences' - the guy lived to be 103, and had a practically endless career - heck, he has a block of 54th street in NYC named after him, because of his many appearances on the Ed Sullivan show. Now THAT'S a mark of respect!

Very underrated performer. Listen to how he changes the volume of his voice around 2:08 to simulate someone talking from a closed door to an open one. Genius.
