Prefer OMG, but Austin was the better US champ, so he gets my vote.
What about the NWA US champions?

I was actually going to add that, but then I realized that be 3 brackets and that would lead to a funky structure that would have ended being confusing. I have a feeling im gonna have to bump this down to possibly 3 votes beacuse the WWE section has far more many viewers than here. If i did do NWA, i had a fear it would end up dying out, which is what im afraid mite happen here. After this, Im puttin the top 8 here with the top 8 in WWE to figure out the best of all time.

Austin.
And make it NWA/ WCW please. Posters here in (w)Rest will respond to that more if anything.
I also object to Angle (or indeed any other post-take over wrestler) being counted.
And where is the man who should ultimately win this contest as the greatest US champ... RICK RUDE?

I would have put in NWA but the problem is I already have the info ready and everything. I spent a shit load of time on this, and that was also another reason why i didn't do NWA cuz that lead to more of a wierd bracket structure. But I am not a-hole so i will see about ur requests. I will probably add it to the WCW bracket if possible. But then the problem is is that in the WWE there was only 16. Here it is 32, without the NWA. But i will look into this and work on it before the first round is over.

If you don't include Rude that would pretty much void this whole thing in my book (and I assume many other people's) because when you say "Greatest US" champ, Rude's name is invariably one of the first ones mentioned. WCW became WCW in 1988 so why is Rude not included? That would also give you Windham and Stan Hansen's runs (as well as Luger's monster run). I'd say both of those and Rude deserve to be in contention about exactly 100% more than Rhyno, General Reaction, Angle and pretty much most of the people there in terms of what they brought to the US title. Here's a thread about it if you don't believe me: officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wrestling&action=display&thread=204737

I agree with you. I am currently working on it. I won't be able to add everyone, but Rick Rude will be in.

WCW became WCW in 1988 so why is Rude not included? Actually, WCW did not split from the NWA in terms of title lineage until Sept. 1993.

Thanks man. Try to get Windham in too! I can see where you've cut it off and why, but when the winner comes out as like Tajiri or someone anyone if half a clue is just going to say "Rude? Windham? Magnum TA?" ... you know what I mean.
Anyway, I'm gonna say McMichael. Because I just hate Duggan that much. ;D

I have shortened the label as Greatest US champ, but what i really mean is Greatest Champ of WCW and WWE. Because yes, leaving out NWA doesn't mean u have the greatest of all time. By the way i vote duggan, which makes the count 3-2 duggan, all he needs is one more.

Ok I was able to fit in, T.A, Rude, Windham, and Harley Race. And Flairs, Steamboats, Stings, Pipers and Lugers NWA reigns will now count as well. I know im missing a lot, but i tried to keep jsut as much WCW member as well without having to go overboard.

What the hey? I wasn't a big fan of Duggan's run, but Steve "Mongo" McMichael should never win anything, ever.
