Really? I found that it had about as bad, if not worse percentage of douchebags than HALO online. It's a pretty tough circle to break into, since if you're not a 1000%, mind blowing Jedi expert at it within 30 seconds of touching a controller for the first time, the guys on there just have no time for you. That's why I pretty much traded it right after I got it....though I really only bought it for the USB anyway. But hey, Batman: Arkham Asylum looks COOL as all get out. Hopefully it will be a MUCH longer game than WATCHMEN was. ;D Maybe it is you? Because I was welcomed, even got a clan invite after one game, where I didn't play so great. I have also added over 10 new friends in an afternoon of playing it. They are hardcore, but they are nice. It must be.... I wasn't very good at it, I'll admit...but the folks I was playing it with didn't seem inclined to teach me, either. They wanted someone who was "g2g" right out of the gate, and I wasn't that person. But whatever...it's not really my type of game anyway. I tend to run into really aggressive people whenever I try and play RE5 online too, though. Maybe I'm just a douche magnet or something....I mean, I have a policy that I don't say anything on my USB until someone else does first, but it seems like there's ALWAYS that one guy on there that insists on being Wesker with that one hit kill pistol....and he chooses ME as his pet target. Five kills later, the crap talking starts, and I just either quit the game, or turn off my headset. It seems like nobody can just play the game to have FUN anymore...it's all about how BADLY you humiliate the other person.

I have been all over SOCOM the last few days. Way better community than most games have. Really? I found that it had about as bad, if not worse percentage of douchebags than HALO online. Hopefully it will be a MUCH longer game than WATCHMEN was. ;D I finally just saw the trailer for this game, and I'm liking it. I gotta say, after watching and listening to this, I'm digging this game.

how did I only find out now that the PS Store has themes for all the MLB teams for free? Oh well, better late than never. Thought my Fallout 3 theme was cool enough. Doesn't top my Mariners theme at all.

Doesn't top my Mariners theme at all. I think they have a Washington Huskies theme too, but not too sure if there's a Wazoo one. I know for a fact there's no Oregon ones, though. ;D And yeah, I cannot stop singing the praises of Arkham Asylum. The demo more than sold me on the game, and I had a blast stalking the scum from the ceiling, and then dropping down on them like the hand of God. Good times.

Yeah, no Wazzu ones, and me having a UW theme would pretty much be the equivalent to me changing my name(my extremely proud grandmother would probably kill me) and starting to cheer the LA Angels.

Heh, I hear you on that one, M's fan! Part of the reason I want a Ducks one so bad is that those themes are SUPER cool looking. Disruptive Media generally does a great job with their sports themes. Makes me jealous as hell of all the fans that get to use 'em.

I REALLY want a PS3, but I also want to wait for any announcement of the PS3 Slim. All signs point to Sony revving up to announce it at Gamescom next week......

i got a back compatible 80 gig, so while they announced a price drop soon after, the lost features in later systems makes up for it(and, I got MGS4 for free, on top of that). PS3slim tempts me none, but I'm glad its coming out. Will hopefully lead to even more Sony success(not saying that because I am a 'fanboy', but since I own a PS3, I want it to be as successful as possible, so it'll continue to get good games).

I'm not even worried about having BC in the PS3 I get, cause I can just buy a PS2 Slim for $100 and play games on that.

My room last year was about the size of my bathroom right now(ie: SMALL), so space is a premium(but, probably slim PS2+Slim PS3=Fat PS3,but regardless)

Getting a code to download the beta means you`re in. You`ll only miss out if you don`t do it.

Getting a code to download the beta means you`re in. You`ll only miss out if you don`t do it. it wasn't a code to download. it was a code to sign up. then they're sending download codes out to a certain amount of the people who signed up in waves

I, too, got an e-mail from Sony today with a code to sign up for the MAG Public Beta. They take you to a survey that you have to fill out. It makes sense, cause they want the beta to run as smooth as possible, so only having people with a smooth, reliable internet connection in is a smart idea.
