I heard about this, but missed it for some reason.
Since he's on Smackdown, I went back and watched last week (7-3), and it wasn't on there.
Was it Superstars? And if so, can someone give me a video link?

Morrison sounds so much better now that he's not using the really deep, sarcastic sounding voice.

If they wanted to pay a real MJ tribute, why not show the original WWF Championship Wrestling theme from 1985

Since when did they start killing off John Morrison's gimmick with this crap with Teddy Long?
If they do the same thing they did to Cena by turning Morrison into a boring white meat babyface gimmick I'm going to be pissed.

John Morrison was given some total shit there, he looked like someone trying to entertain on a public access channel..
Still he obviously doesn't have the mic confidence yet to be the face of the company. I expect him to have to wade through some terrible midcard crap and comic relief before he gets the MAJOR PUSH kind of dialogue.
I just hope they don't kill off interest by flooding his character with segments like this, now I come to think of it, it was bits like this coming out people like the rocks mouth that made me start to turn off wwe.

It sort of looks like they are doing to him what they did to Cena. Obviously the Dirt Sheet was done solely by Morrison and Miz. there is no way WWE creative can be that funny and put on crap that they do. Here is what they need to do. Give Morrison the mic and hold on to the script. This is where they went wrong with Cena. From what I hear most of Cena's old rap promos were written by him. The stuff he does now sounds very scripted just like some of Morrison's more recent ones with Teddy Long. Morrison can be really good on the mic. Check this out.

Man, I wish Morrison would embrace his inner-Jim Morrison as much as he did back then, I loved that stuff. What PPV was that from?

They are basically giving him the Cena treatment right now and people are going to start booing him the way they did CEna if they don't stop it.

That was a bit awkward to watch. It just came off as so forced and scripted. If it had seemed natural it could've been really good but it just looked so, so, laboured.

Teddy doesn't know the words to "Beat It". "All around the world..beat it." WHAT!?!
That was just a terrible bit.

That's what i don't get about the WWE. Why do almost ever main event and upper card face have to be devoid of personality?

That was bad, I don't know how they thought a segment like that would endear him to fans, overall his promo skills still seem to be lacking.
