That was great, wasn't it?
Also more proof that Shelton knows how to mix great psychology with OMG spots.
I know I am the resident Benjamin defender around here, but I like to point out things he does well to quiet down the haters who say he doesnt have anything beyond spotty goodness.

I'll be honest, I was pissed at the beginning when Christian's opponent was Shelton. I thought this would just ruin a fued that would occur naturally down the road rather than the third week Shelton was back on ECW. And the match was in the curtain jerker spot. I fully expected Christian to win, or Shelton to pull of a win via Koslov's interference. Never in a million years did I expect they would let Shelton win the match clean. And I literally marked out loud when it happened. Tv: "one, two, three!" Nonrev: "f*** YEAH!"

Next to Chris Jericho, there is no worker better than Benjamin on all 3 brands. None. Christian and Shelton have shown great chemistry dating back to Survivor Series and just as I predicted, the show has to be carried by them more than anyone. The rest of the newcomers just aren't gonna measure up. Those who say Shelton is a "spot worker" are in reality shock posters who probably love the way John Cena, Orton, and Edge work.

For me Benjamin's always seemed more like a face. I don't buy his promos and his moves are all exciting. last night was actually the first time I saw him pick a body part and work it Next to Chris Jericho, there is no worker better than Benjamin on all 3 brands. For all of Shelton's skill, he still overwhelms me with a sense of apathy. He can be a five-star ring general but if he doesn't click with me after all this time, then I guess he's not going to.
But he does have his fans, so to each their own.
