This is the tourney for all rumbles to see which is the greatest
i will inform the winner, matches before (or after) the rumble and past or future world champs (WWF/WWE and WWE/World Champs only . . keep it in WWF/E area here and no ECW title either) that entered in the rumble. I will say who the last four men that were left in the rumble and a few memorable moments now to support your opinion of which is the best.
22 rumbles , 11 first round matches. i will by taking the first vs most recent (exa: 88 vs 09, 89 vs 08, 90 vs 07, etc.) then with the 11 that make it i will pick two wild cards ( the top 2 losing rumbles with most votes) and match them together in first round to make 2nd round even and etc. Lets have this begin.
First Round
1988 Royal Rumble
Undercard Matches
Ricky Steamboat beats Rick Rude via DQ
Jumping Bomb Angels beat Glamour girls for the WWF Womens tag Team titles
Rumble Match:
Winner: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Final Four: Duggan, Don Muraco, Dino Bravo, and One Man Gang
World Champ entries: Bret Hart, and Ultimate Warrior
Last Match: The Islanders beat The Young Stallions
Moments: This is the first and only rumble to have 20 entries.
This is also the first and only Royal Rumble to not be a pay per view.
2009 Royal Rumble
Undercard Matches:
Jack Swagger beats Matt Hardy to retain ECW Championship
Melina beats Beth Phoenix to win Womens Championship
John Cena beats JBL to retain WWE Championship
Edge beats Jeff Hardy for World Heavyweight Championship
Rumble Match:
Winner: Randy Orton
Final Four: Randy Orton, Triple H, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase Jr. ( I say Jr. to avoid confusion when it comes to older Ted)
World Champ Entries: Rey Mysterio, Great Khali, Triple H, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Undertaker, CM Punk, Kane, Rob Van Dam, and The Big Show
First Rumble to 7 votes gets to move on but now its 4 cuz 7 is too much
