Last Time: King of the Hill>+12
Ready to Rumble is a 2000 American comedy film directed by Brian Robbins and written by Steven Brill, which is based on Turner Broadcasting's now defunct professional wrestling promotion, World Championship Wrestling. The movie draws its title from Michael Buffer's trademarked catchphrase, "Let's get ready to rumble!" The movie was talent licensed by World Championship Wrestling.
Sewage workers Gordie Boggs (David Arquette) and Sean Dawkins (Scott Caan) watch their favorite wrestler, WCW World Heavyweight Championship holder Jimmy King (Oliver Platt) cheated out of the title by Diamond Dallas Page (playing himself), a corrupt WCW promoter named Titus Sinclair (Joe Pantoliano), and DDP's partners. After the match, the two wrestling fans humorously express their rage in their septic truck, resulting in a car crash with Gordie and Sean surviving.

Rules-
The idea is simple. I will (at least make an attempt to) post a TV Show, a movie, a comedian, or something of another ilk each day. I will also provide a description ala wikipedia and a youtube link to a clip should one be available. All you need to do is simply vote whether you believe the item is funny or not. If you vote "funny", the item will gain 1 point. If you vote "not funny" the item loses a point. The total score at the end of the voting period will determine where that item is on the leaderboard. After 20 days, I will then crown champions for each subject (TV Show, Movie, Comedian, Other), an overall champion (highest score of all) and an eternal jobber (worst score of all). I will continue to run the thread, but I will keep track of what items we think are the funniest in each subject.
I have now added a "middle ground" vote. This way you can participate in the voting even if you have no idea what is being nominated. The catch being that no points will be added or subtracted.
I have also added "Hilarious" and "Horrible" to the mix. This will add and subtract 2 points from an item, respectively. This is so a hardcore fan (or hater) of a show can have a bit more say for an item they enjoy (or not enjoy) instead of having the same level as someone who might just be a casual viewer.
One other thing I allow is the nomination of items from you, the wrestlecrappers. If you shoot me a PM of something you want nominated, I might possibly put it up, provided it follows a few ground rules (more info below). I will say that spamming me with the same nomination will pretty much ruin your chances of it getting a shot, and so will being a jerk if your nomination isn't ran. I do not play favorites with nominations, not by item nor the users that submit them, I nominated several items by reader request that I absolutely despised the last time around and left off several things I would have put at the top of my own list. Might I also add that I save the PMs of most requests, only deleting them when I have fulfilled all requests within OR if it breaks one of the request rules. I like to revisit them if I am short on ideas. Just because something you request isn't nominated right away does not mean it will be left off completely.
