The recent Khali/Punk match on SmackDown was pretty good.

Brock Lesnar/ Eddie Guerrero was quite a good match. Taz/ Bam Bam Bigelow was a cool feud.

Three words:
Little Spike Dudley.
Took on Kamala, Mike Awesome, Bam Bam, among others. Looked believable when he won and got the absolute SHIT kicked out of him when he didn't.

Except for the ending, from what I remember, HBK/Vader worked, didn't it?

Ziggler vs Batista was a good showing
Henry vs Bourne were done-well
Swagger vs Christian is another good example
Kozlov vs Christian too
Eddie vs Lesnar was an awesome showing
Khali vs Ziggler's feud was well-done
Kennedy vs Taker and MVP vs Kane were done-well but I'm not sure this counts since they're heavyweights
Flair vs Show from ECW
Punk vs Umaga's feud
And Show vs Kofi looks like it might go that route
But my favorite has to be Jeff vs Taker ladder match for the Undisputed Championship

I recall there being a pretty decent fight between Rey and JBL at one point, but then I remember the feud going on too long and there being lots of bad matches. I do think there was one very good match though at some point...

Rey and Mark Henry have had some really good matches. Benoit/Rikishi - I remember Benoit gave him a back suplex but I don't remember if the match was any good.
But yeah, they're hard to come by. I've always wanted them to have hoss jobbers. I'd like to see the big name small guys like Mysterio do squash matches.

Never seen him before and I used to watch WCW. What small guys beat him?

kevin nash vs rey mysterio nash put him over big time but of course that never gets brought up because it doesnt include the words lazy, burials, politics id suggest people give it a watch a real shocking moment when rey gets the 3 count great reaction from the crowd as well Nash got the win back at Uncensored though, and Rey went right back to the midcard.

Not RIGHT BACK to the midcard...the following night he beat Kidman for the CW Title (which meant something back then). The week after that he faced WCW Champ Ric Flair, dominated and lost only cause Little Naitch was the ref and DQ'd Rey to save Flair's title. Then, Rey got Flair in the Spring Break pool! The week after THAT he teamed with Kidman to win the Tag titles from Benoit & Malenko!
The first half of '99 (besides the unmasking) went REALLY WELL for Rey. Then, the No-Limit Soldiers were formed *shudders*
As for the topic, Abyss vs. AJ Styles is always awesome!
