In a recent thread inspired by the Big Show vs. Evan Bourne match, some crappers complained that they were almost against big man versus-little man matches on principle because they always either turned into squashes (if the big guy wins) or destroyed the credibility of the big guy (if the little guy wins).
So this, in turn, inspired me to start a thread to see if people can offer examples of big man-little man matches or feuds which worked well, with entertaining action, and which didn't end up burying either guy.

Bourne vs Henry on ECW

The first Bourne/Henry match on ECW which ended in Bourne winning by countout. That was the best recent example I can think of - Henry looked like a dominant monster, but Bourne used his speed intelligently in the end to get a win.

kevin nash vs rey mysterio nash put him over big time but of course that never gets brought up because it doesnt include the words lazy, burials, politics id suggest people give it a watch a real shocking moment when rey gets the 3 count great reaction from the crowd as well

Diesel/Michaels IMO.
Hmm..Taker Vs most small guys.
I remember enjoying Kane/X-Pac matches. But I was a bit younger then.

It's a GREAT example. Didn't they start calling Rey the Giant Killer after that? Or maybe that was what they called Nash when he beat the Giant? Or both? Little Spike Dudley worked well too.

It was also when they started calling him "the newly unmasked" Rey Misterio, because Nash took his mask and killed almost all his appeal. Not Nash's call, maybe, but I wouldn't call the feud a success.

Henry seems to do well with the smaller guys. Something about the way he sells makes it believable when a guy like Bourne manages to hurt him for a bit...so good on him.
Kane also does the same.

Their overall feud wasn't very good, but the first couple of matches between Kane and Rey I thought were well done.

Not Nash's call, maybe, but I wouldn't call the feud a success. The unmasking was stupid, but the two singles matches between Rey and Nash (the Nitro one where Rey won and the PPV one where Nash won) were really good. Abyss and AJ Styles have had some great matches together. Their Lockdown 2005 match is a classic. Abyss also had a really good 6-7 minute match with Jack Evans in ROH and I've seen him have a great house show match with Christian Cage. Little Spike Dudley had really fun matches with all the big men he worked with. I think he worked with every big man ECW had and beat quite a few of them.
