I honestly believe this is one of the best moments in recent WWE history. The F-5 counter was awesome and Brock put him over beautifully.

I absolutely agree with this being one of the better moments in recent WWE history but dammit if Cole didn't channel JR on that call.

I woke up my whole family due to me marking out. I think two weeks before the show, I figured out that Eddie was gonna win the belt because Brock was in a feud with Goldberg and at the time, they were not doing Inter-brand feuds for titles. |

Such a great moment that you forget about Lesnar being knocked out by a belt shot to the hand  One of the last times I cared so much about a title change. I miss Eddie  |

Despite what I was saying about figuring it out two weeks before the show, it was a great show and I bought the damn show to see Eddie do it. Same with WM 20 where I bought it to see "He who must not be named" win the world title.

Shocked the hell out of me. I didn't know Brock was leaving at the time, and I thought there was no way Guerrero was walking out with the title. Nobody knew Brock was leaving yet. That didn't come out till about a week before WM XX. But, like a few others said I figured it out that Eddie was pretty much a lock to win, and by God I was gonna watch it live! Ended up having to work that night and got home with about 10 minutes left. It was AWESOME!!! But ya, with them hinting at Lesnar/Goldberg so badly it was kind of obvious Lesnar was dropping the belt. Kinda wish they hadn't pushed the Goldberg feud so much, and had this come completely out of left field EDIT: Couple things to say after rewatching that for the first in forever: -I totally forgot that Lesnar had brought up all of Eddie's past addictions. Didn't care for that angle, because they beat ya over the head with it. Atleast Punk/Hardy is a little more subtle -Eddie winning still brings a tear to my eye, such a great moment -Cole was fantastic on commentary there |
