It looks like the WWE is doing away with Unforgiven, No Mercy and Cyber Sunday. Instead, we will get Breaking Point, Hell in a Cell, and Bragging Rights. Quite frankly, I am glad WWE is doing away with the whole Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday format. The whole fans voting style PPV got really predictable and uniteresting. I am interested in see what they do with these new PPVs.
Breaking Point - I am guessing this will just be a regular PPV, but with just a different name. Last year, they made Unforgiven the "scramble" gimmick PPV. I doubt they would bring back the scramble for a whole PPV, considering they used it for just one match on the last PPV.
Hell in a Cell - This will be interesting. I assume there will at least be both a Raw brand and Smackdown/ECW brand main event, like they do with the Elimination Chamber on No Way Out. It might be cool if they do this PPV as WWE's answer to TNA's Lockdown. They could have singles title matches HIAC, tag team HIAC, womens match HIAC, and some more possiblities. I would love to see a Wargames style HIAC match.
Bragging Rights - The name sounds like they would have some type of gimmick to the PPV like they do with Night of Champions. Maybe there will be some type of tournament outside of title matches. I am thinking kinna like the old King of the Ring PPVs.

I like the concept of allowing the fans to vote. I just hate it when they have 2 shitty options and they have 1 option the fans are more likely to vote and are pushed down their throats. I'd prefer if they just make them better than scrap them.

If Breaking Point will be all submission matches, then it seems like WWE is trying to put on a scripted version of UFC.

My favorite was the Austin/Coach match from a couple years ago. You could choose the stipulation, and the options were: Street Fight Arm wrestling match Debate

This is the first I have heard 'Hell in a Cell.' I don't like the sound of this. I would rather that match be used at random at ANY pay-per-view and not necessarily in every year, only to settle the right feud at the right time. If it is every year at the same event (possibly even more than one like the Chamber at No Way Out), then I think it's status as a special match will be lessened.

Breaking Point is the submission ppv. So are we just gonna have a bunch of gimmick-y PPVs now? This really makes me mad, honestly. I miss when PPVs actually MEANT something, were used as a motivator or finality to storylines, not as frequent pitstops on the way to the Big 4. Grrr!!
