You see, The Honkey Donkey Man was Intercontinental Champion for a record... 64 weeks!*TING* Santino Marella, if he had not have lost the Intercontinental Title by a fluke he would now have been champion for... 49 weeks!*TING* According to the Honk-A-Meter, it would have been merely another 15 weeks until Santino Marella would have been the greatest Intercontinental Champion.. of all the times! Now please, express your universal feelings of sadness and disappointment for this wondrous moment did not get to happen. And may we hold hope that the Intercontinental Title finds its way back to its rightful home.

I was honestly hoping that he would hold the title for 63 weeks.

Actually, I'm with you on this. They essentially had a plot device that could have had 2 midcard feuds running at once (Santino vs whoever, and another feud) and ready made booking for the next year + for the IC title.
And they pissed it away. For shame.

I'm sure a lot of people would have hated it by now.

I didn't expect him to beat HTM, but I was sad they ended it as quickly as they did.
Honk-O-Meter=epic win.

Eh, I thought it was starting to get old when they finally killed it off. I don't think it could've been sustained for another year.

I enjoyed the hell out of the Honk-a-meter but I really liked the idea of had would have won the Womens title then he could of done the Moolah-o-meter.
You see The Fabulous Moolah was Women's Champion for a record....10 years!
I, Santina Marella have now been Women's Champion's for....2 weeks!

does this thread mark the week Santino WOULD of beaten the record? No, no. Just wanted to reflect. He would have surpassed the record on the 15 of November.

It is really weird they pulled the plug on it as early as they did. Though I suppose it would gotten wearisome around week thirty or so.

It was my favorite part of RAW each week and I hate how they pissed it away. The way they kept talking about it I thought for sure he was going to get within earshot of the record.

I too, was hoping for 63.
And, in a pipedream, a Honky Tonk run-in costing him the 64th.

There's a part of me that hoped that he's use Wendi Richter as his comparison, simply for the Richter Scale!
