I HATE when you have to use the brakes in a racing game. Why would you break? IT'S A RACE!
I get that people enjoy realistic games, but I'll take mario cart over GT any day.

Realistic racing games being not all that realistic.
Gor example, in Gran Turismo, it is very easy to spin out going around a corner going over 60 MPH, when it real life that same turn would be cake.

When a game has no checkpoints during missions.
Alright, I ran out of time after splattering that guy's brains against the wall. Why is he just magically alive again?

Competetive gamers who cheat to win and claim it's fair.

Eh.. Maybe you're just not good enough? I don't like pressing x not to die. Or v like in a recent shooting game.

Fighting games where the opponents are: Easy, Easy, Normal, Easy, Minor Trouble, Easy, UNBEATABLE UBER BOSS!!!!!!!For most characters, the unbeatable uber boss in BlazBlue's arcade mode is Nu/v-13. If you actually play as Nu/v-13, then the uber boss is Unlimited Rachel. Either way, you'll be spammed by attacks and them pulling off one of the Specials just 10 or so seconds after the match begun.

RPG game.
Fight a boss.
Use all your items to try and stay alive.
Realise this was a scripted boss fight where it's impossible to win.
Get angry and turn game off.

I have issues with games that make you go to a certain point to save like Dead Rising or certain Castlevania games. Sometimes you're playing and have to stop abbruptly and dont have time to trapes back to the save room so you either have to postpone real life's responisbilites or lose all the progress you've made. a no win situation.

GT can never truly be mastered. And what with how customizable the cars are now, all it could take is just one person using a different set of tires to win.

3 lives/no continues/sending you all the way back to the start of the level etc. It was fine back when you were firing coins into an arcade machine, but these days it`s just a way to artificially lengthen a game.
Thankfully it`s getting rarer every day.

I hate hate hate when I'm playing an otherwise fun RPG, but then I'm too "encumbered" to carry certain items. Goddamit couldn't I have a special ring or magic bag that I could carry all sorts of things?

Deadly water: It was ok back when graphics and space were limited on old systems...but you're trying to tell me Spiderman (or whatever character you might have) can't swim???
Bottomless pits: Again, I understand why they were around in Super Mario Brothers, but it's dumb to have them in games today.

The more "realistic" the game looks the clunkier the game play is.

Spawn campers/arrogant dicks in online mode who thrash you mercilessly, yet EXPLODE in an obscenity filled tirade when you get lucky ONE f***ING TIME and kill them.
I'll ask again...whatever happened to playing a game for FUN? When did it become ALL about stats, points, and ensuring that no one else is having any fun at the game besides YOU?

When becoming a professional gamer became a popular thing? Luckily the only gaming league still running is MLG, but still there are those wannabes who think they can honestly make a living playing games professionally.
