War Zone is actually a great game that has aged very well.

The year was 2007. I won't bore you with the details, but some very powerful, very important men wanted me dead. They came after me, but somehow I was able to escape, albeit sans my memory. I only know what I've been told, and all I remember... is this. Piece by piece, I'm fighting to regain the past I never had.
So to answer your question, no, not really.

...ya know, I know Foley sometimes pulled double duty with Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack, but to have two Mankinds in the ring at the same time? Damn, that takes talent or a doppleganger.

It was a great game, but I doubt it has aged all that well. For all it's innovation, it played like a butt. I really dug the little rant videos and unless I'm mistaken, Warzone introduced the concept of our now beloved CAWs (OUR caws, I know Fire Pro has been doing it for a long while) I remember you could only give them stupid, pre-made movesets though.

Loved it when it first came out. Got tired of it very quickly when WM2000 and No Mercy arrived.

I still play it from time to time. It's alright for a nostalgia trip, but it isn't in the same league as any of the AKI games.

Every now I then I break it out to play as The Headbangers. Not a great game, but pretty fun.

Game sucked, but I bought it the day it was released, then WCW/NWO Revenge took over, then WM2000, then No Mercy. However, I will always like it more than Attitude, nothing like having a big blue shiny super heavyweight be your world champ lol.

Honestly, once you get used to the... unusual... control scheme, the game is actually pretty fun. There are tons of gimmick matches, it was one of the first wrestling games to actually feature voice-overs and commentaries, and the CAW mode was terrific.

I bought this game when I was 7 and I loved it, but now, not so much.

IDK, the controls are simple and the gameplay is adequately fast on PSX at least.
