I wonder what RAW is gonna look like once its current MEs start retiring. Are they just gonna start pushing people at random to the moon in a haphazard way like WCW 2000?
Threads like this make me concerned about the future of the RAW product. I don't think even Cena would get over if he was a midcarder in the current environment.

They'll swipe the guys Smackdown made.....then they'll have to feud with 57 year old Triple H who is on his 32 title reign. The staleness is more an issue I think...Cena and Orton will probably both be around atleast 10 more years and who knows when H will call it a career. Do you really believe the WWE will ever slide any of them down the card?

I don't see Triple H going away in the forseeable future, he wants to be Flair...Flair wrestled into his late 50's. Cena and Orton are still in their ealry 30's and are already to the point of stale and being overexposed...this could get really bad.

You keep equating Miz with ALL midcarders. Some of us just don't like Miz. Disliking Miz doesn't mean you want to fire all midcarders and just have a two hour long main event every Monday. It's not so much that as I've seen the way Raw books in general get defended and they basically bury all midcarders... Triple H/MVP Miz/Cena etc etc, if the only one you are fine with is the Miz one cause you don't like him that puts you in a different spot obviously. hhh pinning mvp is not a burial. did jeff hardy bury morisson last friday? no he beat him people lose sometimes its just when hhh wins its labelled as a burial. what would you liked to have seen happen have the miz beat cena? hes a joke a lowercard joke nothing more.

Have people just talked themselves into accepting it because he's never going away?

Hardy doesn't laugh people off and make sarcastic comments when he wins though

Morrison lost a match to Edge in which he was made to look like a threat and Edge had to go to the limit in a 20 minute match to win.
Hardy hit his finisher on Morrison and he kicked out and they went 25 minutes and it looked like Hardy was going to lose..
These matches are completely different than the way Triple H wrestled MVP or Cena wrestled Miz.

Does Hardy no-sell assaults by multiple people in HHH fashion?

Anti-wrestler threads are fine when it's about main-eventers, but when somebody makes the grave mistake of hating Mike the Miz, it's discrimination towards all midcarders.
Screw that noise. Kofi Kingston for example was given WAY less to work with than Miz. Remember how he started out? A feud with Shelton Phoenix...and he got MAJORLY over and remains as such to this day.
Miz worked with John Cena continually and his heat was STILL inconsistent.
People compare this to John Morrison being a threat to Jeff Hardy and CM Punk, which is bullshit, because he was on even terms with them when he was still Johnny Nitro. If he was being booked against, say, Undertaker, maybe you'd have a point, but it's still just status quo with him.

I don't rip on him unless I think it's deserved..I think to this point he's been very bad this year probably the worst year I can remember him having since 2003.

Gee, getting over in a feud where you can actually win matches vs a feud where you win NONE? What a surprise! Seriously, Miz was given nothing to work with and it will take a long, long time to take him seriously again. People's reactions in this thread (and to an extent, in the crwods) are indicative of how Miz's RAW push FAILED. I really don't want to go back and dredge up the threads from the beginning of the year with everyone worshipping the Miz's mic skills, but there was a period when Miz was considered to be the next big star. Has any wrestler gotten over in a feud where they never won?

hes a joke a lowercard joke nothing more. He could be something more if he was booked decently. But we can't expect you to grasp that point.

Someone tell me a midcarder on Raw that is booked decently? That young up and comer John Cena looks promising I'd argue Kofi is booked pretty well on RAW, but he's the only one I could come up with. I suppose you could argue Santino, but he's not a normal wrestler.
