was thinking about this earlier, remember when 'dust was trying to join the NWO with Booker? If I remember rightly this lead to Booker's face turn and him eventually leaving the group (After a superkick by HBK). I may have stuff mixed up, earliest i've had to get up in a while

I loved them together. It was almost like they'd finally found something perfect for the two of them.
Then, nWO, electricity, stuttering... *sigh*

Sometimes the crappiest ideas turn out gold, as long as the guys playing the parts have the stuff to make it work. Both of 'em were up to the challenge apparently.

Agreed. That team MADE Booker T in WWE. I'd have to agree! I also think this is what made Goldust's comeback a success. When Goldust first returned at Royal Rumble 2002, he was basically rehashing his 90's thing where he acted creepy and hit on the guys. I remember he stalked RVD for his first feud. People didn't get that into it, mainly because it was a stale act. But then the stuff with Booker T started, and Goldust suddenly began showing all sorts of personality and charisma, and we saw how funny Dustin actually was. This added a completely new spin on the Goldust character. So in other words, Book-Dust was a great thing for all involved!

I loved the Star Wars and the Scorpion King bits. Goldust was comedy gold, and Booker was the perfect foil. My favorite mismatched tag team of all-time (Ha ha Head-cheese! Your position has been usurped!)
