Getting rid of Bruce Wayne as Batman has NEVER been a good idea. Didn't work with Azrael, won't work with Dick Grayson. I totally agree. Batman isn't just a costume that someone can put on. Batman IS Bruce Wayne. All of the things that made people like Batman as a character were driven by Bruce Wayne. It'd be like putting some other guy in red and yellow and calling him Hulk Hogan. It doesn't work.

This is like when WWF became WWE, and I predict the results will be similar.
It's sad to see what's happening in comics now. Really is. I know it's supposed to be a business, but it feels like the art is dead in it now.

I know it's supposed to be a business, but it feels like the art is dead in it now. In a lot of ways, it is. This has been slowly coming since Spider-Man was such a huge hit at the box office. Hollywood realized that they can take comic book characters and sell them to casual movie audiences, and they started mining them. To be honest, sometimes it feels like the only reason the actual comic books are still around is to keep making stuff for the movie studios to take.
