They never do anything good on Raw's that fall on an American Holiday. It's like they figure "no one's watching, who cares?"

i dont see why every one seems to be bashing Ashley all of a sudden. Yeah she screwed up a couple of times but remember she is a diva search girl. She has probably been in the ring for only a month or two and it was her first time wrestling in frint of such a crowd.
So the blame on the match is twofold. Putting someone into a match way way way to early. And not letting her get experience at more house shows so her nerves wouldnt be so bad than they probably were

Well Jackie was working With Trish STratus. Ashley was working with Torrie Wilson. It's hard to compare the two when you consider who was carrying who.

I didn't think the match was THAT bad. Watching Torrie do one of those falling dropkick things that luchadores do made me go OMGWTFLOLOLBRB!!!11!!1!!ONEONE!!1
Seriously though, at least Ashley wants to be a wrestler, and she has a unique (somewhat) look; I give her credit for that. She's not just Torrie Jr., like Candice Michelle.

that match was hillarious. every time Ashley F-ed up, JR was quick ot say "well, this is her 2nd match", which made it funnier.
oh well, at least this whole angle gives Victoria TV time.

As I've said before....seeing these two, and realizing the amount of talented male workers who were cut to make way for this CRAP, it almost makes my brain explode.....

At least Ashley as an excuse. She's only been around a few months.
What's Torrie's excuse? She's been around wrestling for over five years and is married to a wreslter! You think she would pick up something in this time.

Well it's true. If you're going to blame someone for Ashley screwing up, don't blame her, blame the WWE. Everybody loves Trish Stratus now, but I remember back when she first started wrestling, she wasn't very good either. It takes time. Give the girl a chance before you rip her a new one.

Not really, there's been a couple posts explaining why, but a few women and a $250,000 contract doesn't equal like 30 - 40 released talents in the course of 12 months. Plus the money is made back in dvd's and magazines. Besides the only release that's really enfuriating is Charlie Haas. Besides they needed to trim from losing a lot from the USA deal, and losing the extra 3 hours a weekend.

I don't have to give her anything. The talentless bim doesn't belong out there. PERIOD. I'd much rather be seeing Sean O Haire or any number of folks than these wastes of airtime. The women's division doesn't mean that much to me personally. I mean if Vince has a million dollars to throw at anything in a G-string, then why doesn't he sign Dazee Haze or Mickey Knuckles or April Hunter?

People were complaining all over the place the first couple months Gail Kim was here (and she had way more training). I hardly noticed anything, but everyone called her a botch machine. Now most of internet won't stop kissing her ass.
Those of us defending this Ashley are just giving her a chance. Call me crazy, but I actually prefer to wait a couple matches before I deem someone worthless in the ring.
I am in no way comparing Ashely to Gail Kim. I'm just saying, the people here crap on anything if they don't give them a 5 star classic right out of the gate. And if they screw up, they're all over them for months.

I'm just saying, the people here crap on anything if they don't give them a 5 star classic right out of the gate. And if they screw up, they're all over them for months. See, she was fired from the WWE, therefore she is a goddess and the WWE is evil. I saw Gail botch some moves when she wrestled. She actually injured her collar bone when she tried to do a springboard move from the rope and landed right on her head. I didn't like Gail in the ring, until she came back from the injury. What sucked for awhile, was she was made into Molly Holly's pregnant dog, after Molly kicked the crap out of her, and decided to join her. I was disappointed Gail was fired, because she was showing improvement. But yeah, the internet tends to do that. If Paul London screws up a move, it would be the fault of his opponent. John Cena screws up the same move, he is the worst WWE wrestler in the promotions history and should be shot in the head with a shotgun. Anyway, about Ashley. Firstly, someone asked, how can you screw up a sunset flip. Easy. Be unexperienced. No one here could do a good sunset flip in a WWE match, unless they are actually a wrestler. I know I couldn't do a sunset flip. I couldn't even do a friggin monkey flip. My problem with Ashley, is she should have just been throwing punches, putting her in headlocks, using really basic moves, or just have Torrie Wilson squash her. I didn't expect them to have a good match, and I didn't expect Ashley to do good wrestling. But the fact is, is that she's trying, and that should be good enough. The announcers talk about how she's unexperienced, so no one is expecting much from her. She does need more formal training though, but if she wrestles again, she should try to do the most basic things as possible, and just learn to move around in the ring.

And I'm trying to say that you should blame the WWE, not her, for sucking. Yeah, I'm sure she has a ton of politcal pull backstage and forces the writers to put her in a televised match even though she sucks. And by the way, genius, if the WWE DID hire April Hunter or one of those other girls, what do you think they'd do with them? Use them to their full potential? Haha. They'd wrestle the safe style just like everyone else and they would be put into awful storylines with terrible acting and bland backstage skits. And Sean O'Haire is long gone; get over it.

I kind of thought Trish would show up when all 3 heels came out. I do feel sorry for the new chick though she's being put in the ring way too soon. And it's only going to be a matter of time before fans turn on her because she's not ready yet.
