How many Floyd fans are there here?
I understood and appreciated their talent, and had their whole discography but I just never liked them much. I couldn't really get through an album or even one long song. But these past few weeks after months of having their albums I started getting into them. I have their CDs on a heavy rotation and I'm just loving it.
I always said you need to listen to an album at least 3 times before dismissing it. Can't count the number of albums I've absolutely loved which I hated the first few listens. So I figure that's what changed. Or maybe not.
In the end Pink Floyd is the shit. And I can finally elevate them to Zeppelin level.
What are your favorite songs/albums?
The Division Bell is a bit underrated.

"The Wall" is my favorite album of all time, and in my opinion, the best written album of all time.
"Wish You Were Here" doesn't get the praise it deserves, being overshadowed by "The Wall" and especially "Dark Side of the Moon". "DSOTM" is a great album, don't get me wrong, but I'd easily put "The Wall" and "WYWH" over it any day of the week.

I get a little burnt out on Floyd but Fearless (Meddle album) is quite possibly the best song ever written.
I can't even listen to any song on Dark Side due to overplay on classic rock stations.
