Man this guy has really changed. He hasn't been last seen since he broke Shelton Benjamin's hand and derailed his momentum for the summer. I don't know what happened to him after that. But man, last I remember he was this dorky looking guy with short hair, generic speedo tights and completely unremarkable. Let this guy grow out his hair, get a tan, some new cloths (kind of looks like hbk's new chaps-style pants), and a year of training in ovw and in a tag team, and I like this guy. I even liked his charisma from the promos he's been giving the last couple weeks. His in ring work isn't spectacular, but it's solid and works well in a tag team. I guess that guy who replied to my "Is Cade actually any good?" thread was right. Now I can see how he fit in with Spanky, London, and American Dragon (haven't seen his work, but he has built a great reputation) as the four standouts from HBK's wrestling academy. I couldn't get into JIndrak and Cade, and couldn't understand why pepole liked them and complained that they were split up, but I like that it ended up with this. I like this team already. They look like a real team. I guess I owe an apology to the guy who kept saying Cade was going to be something big one day. Cause I was laughing, but I'm now on the bandwagon.

I agree with you
When I saw him on RAW last night I didn't think "I'm heading to snoresville". Everything about him before was bland, bland, bland
Now he seems to have something about him that at least makes him seem interesting

I'll agree there. I thought he'd be fired by now, and Murdoch looks like a fat piece of crap... and yet give them both the right gimmick and they look very interesting.

I actually went to San Antonio and saw a show put on by HBK's group when it was active. Spanky was pretty good (he was playing kind of an arrogant comedy heel at the time, so he didn't show off a lot of moves). American Dragon was terrific. Even the low and mid card guys were, at worst, solid. But Lance Cade.... I wasn't impressed at all. He was just...dull. When I first read that he was being given a developmental deal, I was very surprised. I thought there were several guys who deserved it more than he did, but maybe weren't willing to move or didn't want to be full-time wrestlers. I've been out of the country for a while, and haven't seen him in his new gimmick with Trevor Murdoch. Maybe he's changed?

It's so great to finally have hope for the future. Murdock and Cade look great as does Regal and Burchill. Kennedy's already my new favorite and Shelton, Carlito and MNM have bright futures.
If the rosters cuts were to make room for these guys maybe it wasn't such a bad thing.

I always wanting to like Cade when he debuted 2 years ago. I was always to myself "he seems alright totally lacking something" but after Raw i must say i like the guy. I know that the whole cowboy thing was his character back when he started so it makes sense that he is doing it. I hope they really push Cade and Murdock in the future and find some solid opponents for them.
