www.prowrestling.com/news.php?id=15128/articles/newsRecently-released WWE wrestler Maven claims he's about to wrestle the final match of his career. The Tough Enough winner is leading everyone to believe that his match with Al Snow at the 10/29 Night Of Superstars event will be his pro wrestling swan song. Also working the show, which benefits the UVA Children's Hospital, are Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, David Flair, Ivory, Jazz, Billy Gunn and Rodney Mack. ------------------------------------------------- Bet you guy's thought it someone important didn't you?

Buwahahahaha your joking, right? In his press release, he was pretty bitter about the way he was handled, and then stated that he was auditioning for some parts and looking into getting into Hollywood. Shame though, less than a year ago he was in the survivor series main event, and gm of Raw and working a huge storyline involving Hbk, Jericho, Orton, and evolution. But they did give him the ball and he didn't deliver. Normally I'd understand a young wrestler venting his frustrations with the company, but he was tough enough, and not some indie worker who worked their whole lives for that job. I don't think I heard Nidia (or whoever else came from there) complain yet.

I read this, thought of posting it, and then realized that I didn't care about Maven. His main problem, was that he was an experiment. The only gimmick he ever really had, was that he won the first Tough Enough. Which was good for about a month, but five years later it was irrelevant.

No joke, he posted on his website he was pursuing acting... A lot of the released people are trying this, but Maven is the only one who seems to think giving up wrestling alltogether is wise.

Maybe he thinks he has fans and is trying to pull a Matt/Jericho?

Maven retires? big deal he sucked anyways. As for acting...I think he would be better off going back to being a school teacher ;D.
At least he would have a future there. Or maybe if he's really serious he could team up with Hogan to make a **** star movie like Hogan is so famous for (ends sarcasm ;D)

I'm waiting for him to grow out his hair really long and start sitting in the front row at every WWE live event with Josh Matthews sitting next to him in cut off shorts. Then eventually someone asks why he's there and he simply responds with "What about me? What about Maven?" I think it would work...

I always though Maven had enough charisma to become the next Rock. I wouldn't have let him go I'd have sent him to Smackdown and had him feud with a face Christian.

With his release he really doesn't have anywhere else to go. He isn't a good enough wrestler to cut it in ROH or Japan. And i doubt TNA would want him since he was born and breed wwe wrestler who like said before was the "WInner of Tough Enough Winner" isn't it wierd the only surviving member of TE 1 and 2 is Josh Matthews? I say good the only wrestling fan on the entire series still has a job (anyone catch Velocity. "Brian Kendrick has been in japan wrestling for zero one , all japan and hustle... does anyone besides him know that?) As far as the other Nitro always seemed like the best athlete and still has a future , capotelli and puder have been in ovw and not seen from since. Another good idea let them learn how to wrestle and by the time they are ready most people will forget about their tough enough stints.

I heard Cappotelli was on fire down there in ovw in a tag team of his own. Just keeps getting injured.
Heyman's making Daniel Puder look like a friggin machine over in ovw. He's like the new TAz/Samoa Joe. Killing everyone.
