Randy Marsh anyone?? Nah, he still can't compete with Cliff Clavin. Even though it's fiction, any discussion of failure on a game show has to include Cliff. Yes! One of my favorite moments from the series. Although looking back you can see that they filmed it out of order, like the middle contestant's total being $3300 after she missed the answer, or Cliff's answer appearing on his board, then disappearing.

Oddly, the greatest PYL game was the LAST one, on Gameshow Marathon. Leslie Nielsen had Whammied out, It was down to Kathy Najimy and Tim Meadows. If I remember correctly, Tim passed 7 spins to Kathy, Kathy got through them all and earned 6 spins, which she passed back to Tim. Tim got through and earned 5 more, which he passed BACK to Kathy, and she avoided the Whammys to win. Does anyone have a clip of that? Oh wait, I do. Leslie Nielsen Whammied out quickly, but the other two barely got any. That's some fail.

On Press Your Luck, a contestant named Jim Hess became famous for cursing out the Whammies. May contain language, but this is from the GSN version, so I don't know if it's edited for not. This was censored in the original CBS run, but was left uncensored from the syndie version. Damn, that Sam is a d***! Why did he do that, he could've still won with some luck instead he jt decided to f*** over Jim. I can only imagine how Jim felt because you should've heard the words that flew outta MY mouth, and I'm not the one who just got f***ed over by Sam!

I can't believe no one has posted this gem...shame on you, WC. LOL. She got the Steve Austin question wrong. My favorite part is her enthusiatic reaction to "The Crusher" when she says "I AGREE!" only to be later shout down by Gilbert. An absolute classic.

One of my favorite fails was when Millionaire first came on the air one of the contestant's $100 Question was about Hannibal crossing the Alps with what he used his 50/50 between Elephants and Llamas he choose Llamas and was wrong.
I sware i laughed for a good five minutes.

Pay attention to Jim Hess' amount he had prior to being Whammied: $7734. Turn that number upside down...

On The Price is Right recently, I was watching the 4 bidders on Contestant's Row. The third person bid $1, and the 4th person bid $2. The $2 bidder won!

The most epic fail I ever saw in a game show was on an episode of Family Double Dare.
The question was "What animal bit Spider-Man to give him his amazing powers?" and NEITHER family could answer it.

That's actually a Photoshop. From Page 3: I just remembered one from Who Wants to Be a Millionaire where the lady says an elephant is bigger than the freakin' Moon. And THIS is the photoshop. The woman who lost actually lost on a much tougher question (~$125,000).

I remember this not even for what the guy said but the look on the rest of the family's faces. They looked like they were going to disown him the instant they were all backstage. It was awesome.
