So, today at College, we got back our papers about the movie "Congo" in English class. Well, a couple thing were off; My grade was 15 numbers over the limit, and I got a"T" where the usual letter grade would be. Also, the teacher handed them out at the end of the class, and she had to dash, as she had to go teach at another place.
So....................yay?

T? Never heard that one.
Terrific? Total Domination? Triple A?
or
Terrible? Traumatic? I would rather have tuberculosis than grade this kid's papers?

I think it means you got higher than an "A". Like, you got a Super A.
......then again, we agreed in a discussion during Ethics today that a Super A is just a nice way of saying an "F". (DON'T ASK. It wouldn't make sense even if I did explain it.)
So......I don't know, Amigo. Just go with a "yay".

Terrible? Terrific? Trite? Tangy? Tasty? Terrestrial? Tiresome? Tortuous?
Or maybe it's not a 'T', but more like a a random occurence of perpendicularity. Maybe she was saying that you were coming at it from the 'right angle'.

To be fair, she is a absent-minded (young) hippie, so drugs or abset-mindedness shouldn't be ruled out.

if it were a lower case "t" it would stand for time to leave.

if it were a lower case "t" it would stand for time to leave. And later, a capital "T" to show them you really mean business. Failing that, make them move to the front of the bus, or dress up like ghosts to scare them.

I thought when you go above and beyond you're supposed to get an "S". That's what it is in video game world!
