Well, October started...yesterday, I guess. It's my favorite time of the year. So why not have a countdown of my favorite horror-esque songs to get you all in the mood. This'll run until the 31st or until I forget about it. We're starting easy, with a band pretty much a perfect fit for Halloween time. Hell, they wrote a song about it. But that one's reserved for a certain day. I can't imagine which.  The Misfits: "Dig Up Her Bones" And yes, your selections are welcome too. Stay within the video limitations per post please. |

This was a month where JB had horror hosts with him on TMC like Ghoulardi, John Stanley, Elvira AND Zacherley. Great stuff. Back to the music. I have yet to see a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand, walking through the streets of Soho in the rain. |

Here's one you probably weren't expecting. It's arguable that it doesn't really fit, but I think it's a badass horrorcore rap tune. Of course, language and content warning, Eazy E with Neighborhood Snyper.
Gonna knock out three today, the second on the agenda is AFI's "Malleus Maleficarium". I mean come on. That translates to "The Witches Hammer". And I get a supernatural vibe from the theme of the song. Vampires? Witches being burned at the stake? Both? I dunno...but it's a badass tune.
Annnd last on the list today but not least, a song from the ultimate Halloween flick in my eyes. (Well, other than "Halloween" I guess), "Burn" by The Cure from 1994's "The Crow"
