Long story short, I went looking for a Silent Hill shirt during the week. There wasn't a huge selection on the web and to be honest, none I especially liked. So I decided to try my hand at designing my own and maybe getting it printed up. It's only a working template, but this is what I got so far... (You can't really tell cos of the resize, but the font is in the same distressed style as the game titles. It isn't just Impact! )I'm not making anything without first finding out if it's any good. So Silent Hill fans...what do you think? What would you change? What would you like in a SH shirt?

Pretty nice, but the lower left corner (from the viewer's point of view, not the wearer's) looks kinda... empty, whereas the rest is very busy.
My advice: trying making the Pyramid Head outline bigger and more centered, with the SILENT HILL logo partially covering it (possibly a bit transparent, not sure how that'd turn out on the finished shirt, though).

Yeah, I knew that corner needed to be filled up I was toying with transparency (trying to create a fog effect), but like you said wasn't sure how it'd look printed out. If I enlarge the logo, and move the bottom in line with the second L then the sword will be behind the text, which actually could look pretty good. Once I get to the PSD file tomorrow I'll give it some more work.

Could use just a touch of red, in my opinion. Like maybe on Pyramid Head's blade, or on his pants themselves. Or heck, even on the Silent Hill logo. As is, the black and white are cool, but...sort of plain.

I think the shirt sould look very cool if the capitalized letters were red, not to mention I seem to remember this happening a few times in the games. Or maybe blood stains on the sword?!

I don't mean to hijack the thread or anything (your design is good, although like others have said I think it could use a bit of color, preferably red for the Silent Hill logo), but as I decided to return to and improve my old "James meets a Patient Demon" artwork once more I started thinking that it could actually look pretty cool on a shirt...
