Every year I get suckered into this scam. I usually end up winning a free double cheeseburger and fries, if I'm lucky. Not that I'm complaining cause I love double heart attack burgers.

Workers, can't play the game. But we get some of those sneaky thief workers steal some and use them in other Mcdonalds stores.

I got like six tickets with my mom, but I gave them to my grandfather. He usually does them and besides, there's no McDonald's in my town (just BK, burger wise)
I did do excellent during the Transformer's sweeps, though. Free french toast sticks, free crossianwich and a free Whopper.

Back when I ate McDonald's food (can't stand it now), I played the game every year.
Eons ago, it was the highlight of a camping trip I went on with my Boy Scout troop. Most of our conversation revolved around us trying to buy stamps from each other.

I participated in last years game, had an assload of those tickets, and won nothing except for some free food. Then I learned the secret too how that one piece to a set is rare and that some people would even sell it on ebay, so I figured why bother?

Do it almost whenever it comes up.
Have never won a thing, though.

I just won a free breakfast sandwich! And that's all I'll probably win.

I played the first couple of times they did it back in the 90's, when I was a kid. Now it's like, "Geez, are they bringing that back again?"
The silly thing is that now that I'm in college, a free double cheesburger or fries would be a lot more valuable to me.

I'm doing the online game this year, in which you use your codes to move around on the gameboard. It makes it a little more interesting than just collecting the peices. Since you have more of a chance of winning the ACTUAL lottery than you do at winning McD's game.

Seriously, does anybody have any concrete proof that anybody, anywhere, has EVER gotten the Boardwalk piece? I mean I heard that one year somebody mailed it to a church or something but that could've just been an urban legend.

I've checked the Web to see if I have one of the rare pieces, but that's about it.

No. I don't like McDonald's all that much and I'm not gonna get suckered into buying the food so I can get a ticket that says "Indiana Avenue".

I was doing the Subway Scrabble(didnt win anything but free cookies or chips)... i learned my lesson, its a waste of money and you dont win anything good. mcdonalds monopoly is the same way. (and i agree. i dont like mcdonalds all that much AND theres one RIGHT BY MY HOUSE and i dont go there )

Well, I stopped playing. It's just not fun after winning the million dollars 3 years in a row. Seriously, I never intentionally play, but somehow still end up with a few random pieces despite almost never eating McDonalds.

I was playing Subway Scrabble as well, and I won...a free sammich I think. That's all. I was mostly just eating a lot of Subway more than I was playing a game. >_>

Seriously, does anybody have any concrete proof that anybody, anywhere, has EVER gotten the Boardwalk piece? I mean I heard that one year somebody mailed it to a church or something but that could've just been an urban legend. There was a big scandal a while back that someone in the company in charge of making and advertising the game was taking all the most expensive pieces and giving them out to associates.
