He's this guy from ESPN, he has his own ESPN Radio show "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" and he co hosts a show on ESPN 2 "SportsNation"

I like him, and I completely understand why some people hate him.
He has a very abrasive personality.
But like him or hate him, he gets big ratings.

There is something about the way he sees the world and the world of sports that rubs me the wrong way. I remember Dice-K's first start and he was like "He's one of the few players I'll stop in an airport to watch." As if he is so self important that he can't waste his time with anything but the best of players. This is after Dice-K torn apart Triple A Kansas City. Ironicly, Dice-K hasn't been the instant hall of famer, 30 game winner Colin predicted and he never owned up to putting a mediocre player on a pedistal. There is more but that was just one incident were he rubbed me the wrong away.

The guy spends half of his radio show making fun of himself.

The day Eddie Guerrero died:
"Who cares about some dead wrestler?"
So no, I don't like him.

King asshole is the best way to put it. Holier than thou attitude about so many things, judgmental, abrasive, and a shock jock in a lot of ways.
Shame he's on most of the time when I'd be in a position to listen to the station.

He's terrible. The only worse ESPN radio personality is Eric Kuselias.

His crappy ass show is the reason Max Kellerman isn't on the local air anymore ( he's abrasive but more clever)

Basically, his deal is to give every opinion in a way that:
If you agree, he's really sticking it to everybody who disagrees and gets you laughing and going along with it.
If you disagree, it enrages you to the point that you call or email, and as anybody knows it's easy enough for a radio professional with a disconnect button to make any voice of dissent look like an idiot.
In all seriousness, he's kind of the equivalent of an internet troll. He doesn't care what KIND of attention he gets, as long as it's attention. And he's more or less said that on his show, if people are calling and emailing, his bosses don't care what they're saying, it just means they're listening.
For some reason I like him (usually) during football season, but seriously he's quite hated among wrestling fans for his comments about that so you're not alone.

He's terrible. The only worse ESPN radio personality is Eric Kuselias. At least Stephen A. Smith isn't around any more. I HATED that guy. And I was watching Fox News the other morning, and now he's a Fox News analyst. Hey, if you thought this guy was annoying talking about sports, wait till you hear him talk about politics! Nuff said.

He's terrible. The only worse ESPN radio personality is Eric Kuselias. If there was a Mt. Douchebag for ESPN personalities, Kuselias would be worthy of a spot, along with Cowherd and Skip Bayless. I'm trying to think of who would be #4... maybe Joe Morgan?

I'm trying to think of who would be #4... maybe Joe Morgan? Mark May from college football could get a nomination. Doug Gottlieb for college hoops. Pat Forde the writer gets consideration for his bias work on ESPN.com, writing everything from 2 feet in Rick Pitino's ass.

I'm trying to think of who would be #4... maybe Joe Morgan? Skip Clueless could take all four positions if you ask me. What is it with ESPN bringing on all these snarky windbags as commentators? I didn't noticed until you just made a list but they have a lot of the same guy. What ever happened to Dan Patrick and guys like that?
