"Don't Tread on Me'. It sounds like something from '...And Justice For All'

Sad But True is my personal favorite, but I remember with great fondness blowing out my eardrums to Enter Sandman, Unforgiven, Don't Tread on Me, and My Friend of Misery too... okay, I love every track on this album.

Enter Sandman (although there are a few epics on this album). This is one of my least favorite Metallica albums. It just seems overly produced for me. Still like the labium though and Metallica are my favorite band. Death Magnetic is awesome and an excellent return to form for Metallica. They just took everything which was kick ass about them and molded their 80';s and 90's elements together to come up with a new kick ass album and sound. It sounds like every album (including St Anger) at parts and a formation of them all and everything in between at other parts. Amazing album. I also don;t see why Load or Re Load get;s such a bad rap they have plenty of great songs on them and a lot of it kicks ass. Yes it may not be up to their 80;s thrash standards. However at this time they were taking their music in a different direction and trying out a lot of new things.A after playing heavy thrash for the past 4 albums and touring Black Album for over one and a half years. I do think they would have been better choosing the best songs out of Load and Re Load and releasing that in 1997 instead of realsing two sub par albums. However IO still really like those albums. Also I don;t understand why ST Anger get;s as bad a rap as it does. Yes it is not up to the standards of their other albums but I find a lot of songs on their which do kick ass also and it;s again a different sound
My Metallica albums in order of favorite are
1) And Justice For All 2) Master Of Puppets 3) Death Magnetic 4) Garage Inc (an awesome and very underrated album. One of the best cover albums by a mile) 5) Ride The Lightning 6) Black Album 7) S and M (Live Album) 8) Re Load 9) Kill Em All 10) Load

Holier Than Thou. That opening riff, with everyone playing in sync, is pure bliss. I find myself agreeing with this. Also the brief bass and drums interlude after the solo. Awesome.

God DAMN that was a hard choice. Went for the unforgiven in the end but it was close. Unforgive wins cause without it there would have been no unvorgiven II

Unforgiven. That guitar solo is one of the most emotive moments in rock as far as I'm concerned.

My favorite has always been "Sad But True" but "The Unforgiven" is a close second.

Gotta go with "The Unforgiven"
Next two choices would be "My Friend Of Misery" and "Of Wolf And Man".

Since it's currently winning...
Off hand, does anyone remember seeing the extra long version of this video? Right after the intro it cuts to an extended scene of the guy of the story doing stuff with no music, then it cuts back to the regular video, pretty weird and it make the full video almost 15 minutes long.
