SourceHmm...I wonder what other systems Epic Mickey could come to... It is not like Sony and Microsoft aren't making motion controllers for their systems or anything. But seriously, Epic Mickey needs to come to PS3. They want motion controls, they got motion controls. The Wand/Sphere/Dildo is more accurate than the Wii-mote. Can't say the same for Natal, though(since all the current videos of Natal demos look clunky and you REALLY have to put yourself into the game for it to work). So, thoughts? Comments? I mean I don't willingly WANT the Wii to lose a game the system can call its own, but the excuse of making a game Wii exclusive now based solely on motion controls ain't going to cut it.

Can't wait for this game, I'm a proper Disney geek so I think it's brilliant that they're giving their lesser-known elements some exposure.

Motionplus says Hi. and don't forget something called the Nunchuck. Even with Motion+ the Wii-mote isn't 100% pixel for pixel accurate. The Wand/Sphere/Dildo is pixel for pixel accurate, thanks to using the PlayStation Eye as well. And what does the Nunchuk have to do with anything? Yeah it has some motion control, but it is the most basic of all motion control. It only tracks that the thing has been shaken in a certain direction.

Well, the Wii has been out for a while. The Wand still ain't out, and I haven't heard a release date for it. Spring 2010. All signs point to March or April. Whenever EyePet's new release date for America is announced(it got delayed till Spring 2010 as well, cause many people think there will be a Wand/EyePet/PlayStation Eye combo pack, since Sony said EyePet can use the Wand).

Does Sony's control have a Analog plug-in? The DualShock 3. It isn't a plug in, but right now it is the best Sony has. They haven't announced any plug-ins for the Wand. On paper it sounds clunky, but it is the control scheme from Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition, which uses the Wand for improved aiming. If the Wand/DS3 combo can play RE5 perfectly fine, then it can handle a platformer.

Okami had analog control in the original PS2 version and everyone who played both versions have said that while the Wii still has nice controls, the PS2's analog controls were more accurate.

What's so epic about this, then? It has all the characters Disney has tossed to the wayside coming back and they are REALLY pissed off.

Now is the name of the game gonna be "Epic Mickey", or is it just the working title?

Now is the name of the game gonna be "Epic Mickey", or is it just the working title? The working titles for the game were: Super Secret Warren Spector Game Project Junction Point Studios Project #2 So far it looks like Epic Mickey is the official title of the game, since in last month's issue, GameInformer had a fake ad teasing news about an "epic" game in this month's issue.

The RE5 AE control scheme looks like crap though.
I don't know if you've ever held a DS3 with one hand for an extended period of time but it feels awkward as hell. There's a reason the wii has a nunchuck.
