I'm fairly new here, but that's the general opinion i seem to get. I also thought people hated the hell out of it, mostly because all of my friends who watched did. Personally, i felt it fit in the time period, but it drew too long after that and could have brought back deadman 'taker earlier. Of course there's no way of brining back dead 'Taker realistically, so maybe that's part of the issue, but that's also what makes him Undertaker.

I loved the hell out of it. "Big Evil" and "American Bad Ass" are my favorite 'Taker incarnations.

I have liked all of Takers characterizations.
Ministry being my favorite.
His current persona is getting boring though. I would like him to finish his career out by combining both Biker and Deadman into one. An evil dead guy with supernatural powers who also talks smack and can just flat out beat your ass. To me, that would be the best way for him to go out on.

It was a good gimmick and he played it well, but put simply, it wasn't the Undertaker. All his Undertaker-ness, what made him the enduring Dead Man, was taken away with this character.

Never enjoyed Undertaker more than the 02-03 Big Evil versions. American Bad Ass is a close second.
Honestly, had he not been improving in ring with age year by year and having these amazing matches, I might not even be a fan of the guy currently because of the zombie MMA fighter gimmick.

Not to mention this version of Taker gave me one of the few Vince McMahon incarnations I liked. The absolutely out of his s*** insane version, who was threatening to have Undertaker skinned and his wife raped by a biker gang. I mean it was totally wacko, but it was entertaining television. Not to mention the culmination of Taker badassitude, the blade job match with Vince at Survivor Series 2003.

I still debate if it was awesome or sick.

I loved that Taker because he could talk.
Deadman Taker was always just a gimmick to me, but when you see this huge musclebound biker talking smack to you, you're automatically intimidated.

You WILL respect the Undertaker.
My favourite 'Taker incarnation. He could talk, he could sell and I found him much more intimidating that the mascara covered grumbling git he currently is.

One reason to be a fan of Big Evil:
Crowd: WHAT!
Taker: Say what if you want to sleep with your sister.
Crowd: Wha....*silence*

Big Evil also had this shirt... A wrestling shirt I didn't feel lame to wear in public.

Love the Taker during his Kane and SCSA fued. BUt I think Biker Takr was his best followed by Big Evil. I never really cared for ministry.

No, who told you that? I might be a bad gauge though, as I hate all non-traditional Undertakers. I accept him now as OmniTaker, but I never thought he should have been a biker, tough guy, or a cult leader. I know the gimmck was dated and required a change, but .... whatever.

His transisitions always seem a little rough..There's no 'logical' reason for a deadguy turning into a biker but this is wrestling of course. That's probaly what always bothered me the most..and because i was always a huge mark for 'Taker in the early-mid 90s.
