I fully support Taker losing the streak. It's overblown, and frankly, looking at the names on the list, not all that impressive. HBK,Flair,Triple H,Batista,Kevin Nash,Sid,Orton,Edge and Big Show? That's a lotta World Champions You forgot Kane and Mark Henry(ECW Champ). I'd say it was mostly impressive. I think Undertaker would want to pass the streak's rub onto someone.

Every damn year there are at least 50 threads about this. With people dying for the streak to end and people defending the streak. Personally, I don't want it to end. It's part of his mystique now.
Someone else put it best, can't remember who, so if it was you(and no lying) take your credit:
Nobody should because Guys like Cena, HHH, et al are already over and don't need the rub. And you don't want to risk giving it to someone else because they could be future endeavored within months for doing something stupid.
Punk is a safe bet if they were ever to do it, but truly, he don't really need the rub. He's gotten over gigantic since his turn by pretty much being honest. "You used drugs, you got suspended." ect... And a face turn for him around RR/WM time means even more for him.
Ted Jr.? That's just silly right now. Note I said 'right now'. He needs to break away and break out before he can be taken truly seriously as a singles wrestler.

Taker should go over at WM26 and push his record to 18-0. Have WM27 take place in Boston, with The Undertaker going against The Big Show. Everybody expects Taker to win, only for Big Show to pull off a huge upset. The next day, WWEShopZone sells the following shirt:

noone should beat Taker. If Edge or Orton couldn't, punk shouldn't come close. The only downfall to Taker never losing at WM is I have no interest in his matches because you know he will win. So you weren't interested in his match with Shawn this year?

Have Cena/Taker, then WWE can intentionally "leak" some news here and there about how "current plans have Cena going over Taker at mania". Would make it more entertaining for all. Casual fans would already be into it anyway.
Then have Taker win, naturally.

I think that Heidenreich has a shot to break it.

Someone in another thread had a great idea for an Undertaker mania match. Make it two out of three falls. Let's say he faces Punk. Have Punk win the first fall after a long match with some tricky move - grab tights rollup, holding ropes whatever, then have Hart Dynasty come out (I'm picturing them having some sort of alliance) and beat the crap out of Taker, causing a DQ win for Taker but softening him with chairshots for Punk to get the final pin. GTS, but Taker sits up, Tombstone time, wins.
Taker still wins, but Punk gets a rub by bragging about how he would've won if it wasn't for the stip.
I think that's a win, win situation.

Cena, though, I could see having credibility enough to make it a viable route.

I think a this point in Takers career no-one expects him to lose a WM. And neither he should really. WWE should now just concentrate on giving Undertaker wrestlers that are going to put on a great show and bring in crowds! Last year Taker vs HBK was the main reason to watch Wrestlemania! If they can do that again this year, even though we know he's going to win, will be great, both for Taker and business! I say Cena this year! Two big fan favourites that will put on a spectacular Wrestlemania match = $$$

Sorry, but that type of suck on a T-shirt is only reserved for the New England Patriots. I see the CM Punk hype is at an all-time high. Punk got enough rub for (kayfabe) retiring Jeff Hardy, the most over guy on the roster, what more does he need?

Pretty good reasons for Punk to dethrone Taker. I actually thought Orton would do it a few years back and the last couple of Mania's had NO ONE challenging my question of beating Taker.
I thought MVP a while ago would be good, but Punk would too. I just hope it doesn't turn into his one big thing to hold onto if his career goes sour.

Honestly, if Taker plans on sticking around for a few more years I'd really like to see Morrison and him at WM. Morrison wouldn't win of course but, like his match with Edge earlier this year, it would give him immense credibilty.
That, and I'd like to see how Morrison could work with a bigger guy like Taker and how Taker could work with a talented guy like Morrison.

Kane. Then have Kane spontaneously erupt into flame moments later. End streak. End feud. Who is CM Punk?

If they can do that again this year, even though we know he's going to win I agree with this. I think people saying a match like Taker vs. Jericho will be good on a technical level but not great because of a lack of suspense are showing surprisingly little faith in their storytelling ability between the ropes. Did anybody really think for a second Michaels was breaking the streak? Not me. Did the match have me thinking that he actually might? Hell yes, because I got caught up in the moment and how well they played everything. So I say bring on Jericho and Taker because I'm sure they'll do the same. I'm sure Cena would work on a slightly different level because some would think WWE would seriously consider having him break it, but I'd rather WWE book Taker in matches against guys for the purpose of having good matches, not just to rile fans up at the prospect of them ending the streak. That being said, I'd like to see him face Cena too much for the pure spectacle of it like Rock vs. Hogan, and I recognize it would be a big draw, but I'd rather watch a Jericho vs. Taker feud and match. There should be time for both.
