At least he's leaving the company in a better way than he did in 03. Ain't that the truth *Ron Killings Comes In* WHAT'S UP? No Ron, I didn't mean it that way. Oh. *Ron Killings Leaves* Though I'm glad that it is on good terms, and that he can come back any time he's ready.

Good I was hoping Jeff would be pulling a Jericho so to speak. Glad he left on good terms and I look forward to seeing an invigorated Jeff Hardy return in a few years.

That's awesome news. Being able to leave and return on your own terms is a great advantage, and I'm glad that Jeff will be able to rest up, explore other options, and come back when he feels it's right. And since Toomi's post earlier stated that the wrestlers are throwing him a farewell party, 5 bucks says Punk's not invited.

He can lecture them all he wants, and they won't remember since they'll be passed out.

It'll be interesting to see how he feels after a couple of months. Chris Jericho started a new trend in the business that if you're cemented as a star in the company, and life on the road is grinding you down it's possible to leave on your own terms and come back when you feel better. But of those who have done it (Lita, Trish Stratus, RVD being others), Jericho is the only one to have come back full time. The others found that with having financial security they ended up enjoying life more without all the strains and stresses of being in wrestling full time. The difference with Jeff is that despite his outside interests wrestling is the one thing that has been constant in his life. This is someone who had his first match as a jobber in WWF when he was 16. Plus with his brother still being with the company, there would be another incentive to come back. So we'll see, but I wish him all the best regardless. That's not really accurate. Lita and Trish flat-out retired. They didn't say they were taking indefinite breaks because of burnout. I believe RVD's is an actual indefinite break, but is complicated by his wife illness, which was one of the reasons behind his departure in the first place. Therefore Jeff and Jericho are the only example of this trend (and it's not so much a trend at all). Nonetheless, I expect Jeff will return since he is in a much better place than when he left the last time and he came back then. And who knows, maybe it will catch on and it'll be a good thing. Talent will realize if they need a break they can choose not to re-sign without burning bridges with the company. Perhaps WWE will start treating talent better through fear of this happening.

Hope he isn't expecting much success out of the band.... His band can be very successful if they somehow work out an arrangement with the corporate overlords of Disney. Let's face it. Nobody will ever confuse the Jonas Brothers with Led Zeppelin. Indeed. Led Zeppelin's "What I Go to School For"? Amazing.

Hope he isn't expecting much success out of the band.... Song of the decade. I got to 2:27. For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE don't read that as a challenge. Read that as a warning.

Holy crap I made it to 2:26, and I planned on listening to the whole thing no matter how terrible it was.

I listend to the entire song...I actually feel sorry for Jeff now. I hope his expectations aren't too high. That was one of the most wretched, laborious songs I've ever heard in my life. Put Lil' Wayne on it and it would actually improve. THAT'S how bad it is. Jeff man...Don't do it. Just don't. Don't leave to do this, especially if that's the apex of your musical ability. It's not worth it.

I can see Jeff coming back eventually, especially after he has months off to recover and rest. My big question is not how long will he be gone, but how long can he be gone and come back as the same guy?
I mean, Jeff isn't exactly old but he's not exactly a spring chicken either. Normally this wouldn't mean much but Jeff has taken a lot, and I mean a lot, of wicked crashes and spots over the years, especially during the TLC tag matches. If Jeff is gone for a few years I really do worry that his body won't be able to handle his high flying style that he's so known for.
Hopefully he's not gone that long and it doesn't become something to worry about.

Didn't Big Show take a leave on good terms to become a boxer? And Christain left on good terms, even though he was going to TNA.

Hope he isn't expecting much success out of the band.... Well, he does have a lot of fans. I'm sure they'll at least give it a shot.

or, 5 bucks says punk is VERY invited so he can drive people home That makes more sense. He can lecture them all he wants, and they won't remember since they'll be passed out. They'll also wonder who stole all of their razors. (For those who are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, Punk and Cabana once attended a party, and stole a bunch of disposable razors when everyone but them got hammered, since they are both quite cheap and loathe to spend money.)
