This poll is slightly tongue in cheek, since I'm sure the NEWZ will be speculating this from now until the point when/if he actually does return. I just thought I'd be the first. ;D
Seriously, he had probably one of the best exits I've seen in a while. Kudos to him for giving such a great performance on the way out and for helping to elevate Punk in the process.

I'd laugh if he showed up on Impact in a week. I'm guessing he'll come back either at the Rumble or Mania.

I'm guessing he'll be back by Mania. I SERIOUSLY doubt he's going back to TNA. I don't even know if TNA would want him back, or be able to fit him in the roster.
Though I wouldn't be surprised to see him do a few Indy or ROH shows before heading back to WWE.

I see him coming back just in time for Wrestlemania. If not Mania, then the Raw or Smackdown following Mania.

He will be someones mystery partner in a few months. He will be shown as a silhouette in the matchup screens still doing his "Look how long I can stretch my bubblegum" pose, but with a question mark on his head.
Fans will be none the wiser.

I don't think he'll ever come back. I am obviously not insinuating Jeff Hardy even looked sideways at any form of narcotics. Not even.I've been trippin' on balls, Game. I've been trippin' on balls. Ever since I've left, I've been taking some crack, I don't think I'll ever come back. Let me shoot, shoot, shoot in my fore arm, If I come back, it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, At the Ent' with the Game.

Specify comeback. Because I'm in two minds. I could see him making an appearance, possibly coming back for a Mania program then ducking out again, or to eliminate Punk from the Rumble (providing he's in it), unless WWE really want to save his return, but I kinda can't see him returning full time for at least a year.

I'll take the Jericho route and say two years.
Although... Jericho spent a lot of that time promoting his music. Jeff... Jeff doesn't have to worry about that.

Around Wrestlemania, probably to save Matt from being beaten up by...well, whatever midcard wrestler he's paired off with around that time.

I'm actually predicting sometime after Summer Slam 2010.
They'll give him one of the typical build-ups leading to his return. If he still ends up proving to be as big a money draw as he has been over the past year or so, then they'll have him do a big "comeback" storyline leading to a title win in the ME of WM27. Hardy-Cena for the belt would be an absolutely enormous draw, especially if they put on the quality of matches which they've proven both of them are capable of.
If the fans have cooled on him, he'll settle in at the mid- to upper-mid card level.

If he were going to come back this quickly, they'd just give him a part time schedule similar to the Undertaker or something along those lines. They'd give him some kind of "injury" angle, instead of going the "loser leaves WWE" route. All indications point to Jeff's departure as being long-term.

If Edge isn't #30 at the Rumble, Hardy is IMO.

I want him to come back like RVD did as a surprise entrant in the RR.

I give it a year. If not, who knows.
I REALLY don't see him going to TNA again. The last time that happened he really wasn't as good as he was, his motivation seemed to dip...and would you really want to be in the same promotion that pushes a crazy bald guy and a man who can't take two steps without tearing something?
