Im adding NOC, The bash & Extreme rules due to name changes, i would have to say NOC is my favorite concept becuase we get actual wrestling matches and no gimmick matches........

Hell In A Cell seems to have the most potential in my eyes.
I like the Night Of Champions concept, but shouldn't all the matches (or at least MOST of them) be title matches on a PPV???

Night of Champions is the only title that doesn't make me cringe. I'd honestly take December to Dismember as a title over Tables Ladders and Chairs.

NOC is by far the best one. Since WrestleMania is usualy packed with grudge feuds, its nice to see every title on the line at least once a year.

Extreme Rules is always a good show, so I'm going with that.
For the most part though I hate these concept PPVs. In one foul swoop you eliminate anything special and any aura the matches have around them. You 100% handcuff creative to book around these shows, and you eliminate any suspense in how a feud is going to end. We're going to have Taker vs. Punk in HIAC some 4 weeks after it starts. Maybe by DECEMBER it would have been cool, but now it's just a prop. What happens if going in to HIAC next year they actually do have a big feud going down, but one of the participants gets hurt and can't compete say ... 2 weeks out? You're going to throw a random second entrant with no feud and no heat in to a match that's supposed to be your company's biggest feud ender.
Give it a couple of years when we get feuds in TLC and in the Cell that have no business in them, and you're going to see buy rate interest go down as well. I'd bet my house on that. They stop being special or buzzworthy after they're bastardized like this.

The only ones that don't bug me so far are NOC and Extreme Rules. NOC because I like that every title is on the line and Extreme Rules because hardcore matches aren't exactly major, once-an-occasion feud enders. I'm also fine with No Way Out being the Elimination Chamber PPV because that's the type of spectacle you can actually build a PPV around, and EC matches aren't used to end feuds because of how many people are involved. They're just all about the title on the line.
These gimmick-concept PPV's are really dumb otherwise, and they only take any sort of suspense out of how a feud's end will be special. A crucial element of these special match types is not knowing when they'll be coming. But now that we know that October will be the HIAC PPV (no clue what Bragging Rights' gimmick will be besides a terrible name) and December will be the TLC PPV, it takes out a lot of what makes these matches so good to begin with.
A submission match-based PPV, while not exactly a major type of special match, is also not so great when you have main event-level talent that might not have a submission move as a major part of their arsenal. They got around it this year with Orton by making it an "I Quit" Match, but then you run the risk of Breaking Point becoming the I Quit PPV. I don't know what was so bad with keeping Unforgiven around as the Scramble Match PPV as that's an example of a concept PPV that works as a planned event, like the Elimination Chamber.
And really, where's King of the Ring in all this?

Meh, they'll change Survivor Series to Monkeys Flinging Poo at the rate they're going with these name changes.

I'll join the NOC crowd and the "this is getting ridiculous" crowd. I understand why 'E is doing this but like said, there will be feuds coming up that have absolutely no business being contested under a TLC match (RAW's main event scene in particular).

I Anxiously await WWE Duchess of Queensbury Rules I like the way you think, you'll go far in this company. But NoC is the best out of the concept PPV's. Generally there a good to decent matches.
