Surely one of the main reasons behind the PG rated age is getting money out of kids pockets but it got me thinking. As a fan of 20 years I must have shelled out thousands on PPV's, DVD's, live tickets and oh yes foam fingers and belts in my younger days. How much does everyone think they must have lined Vince's pockets with? As a long time reader of these forums (a good few years now), I've finally joined, so...hi!

Too much. Also, hello and welcome aboard! That was going to be my answer as well. Hell, just in video games alone, I've given him over $1,000. I don't even want to calculate my DVD, action figure, PPV, and T-Shirt spendings.

I got one of those 7-11 cups, do those count? I wanted one of those. But, there are no 7-11's around here.

With my PPV buy frequency, which isn't every month- mostly the major shows, figures I had as a kid, the Hulk Hogan bedsheets, and some video games (I hardly buy any t-shirts), I suppose somewhere around $1,650.75 over my period as a fan.

In figures alone over the years(since age 6, I'll be 30 in 2 weeks) I have personally spent well over $4000.
PPV buys? Don't even ask. I used to order every ppv they did. So there's no calculating that.
Merch? About $2000
Gaming: Pretty much every game they put out, save for the Game boy stuff.

Zero dollars.
And I've watched PPVs, played the games, watched DVDs, the whole 9 yards.
I'm just a shrewd, frugal bastard

I went to two house shows. One in 2002 and another in 2004. Not sure how much that cost.
An Edge shirt
and No Mercy 2002 DVD

Ever since I started spending my own money (ie, after age 16 or so) it's even been a lot I've bought a few of the Smackdown vs Raw games, ordered probably 15-20 PPV's, bought atleast 5 DVDs, paid for myself and 3 others to see December to Dismember (biggest. mistake. ever.), and went to see a house show last year. Disregarding the fact that Wrestlemania is usually paid for by my mom as a birthday present, I've spent well over $1000 on WWE stuff.
When I was a kid and the parents paid for everything, I'd imagine it was a lot higher. I know that I watched nearly every PPV between 1998 and 1999. I went to a couple of Raw's. Had quite a few T-shirts. Got several VHS's. And had a TON of wrestling figures. Poor mom would probably cry if she saw how much money she spent on feeding my wrestling addiction lol.

I forgot shows I attended. Just within the past 11 months, I've attended one Raw and No Way Out, and with ticket prices and merchandise, combined that was about $500. Man, I just keep throwing money at these people.

I gave him about 20 bucks for a used copy of Day of Reckoning 2, and that's pretty much it unless I'm forgetting something.

WWE Live Events ~$150, Videos/DVDs ~$100, PPVs $40 Total about $290
For TNA, I've spent much more... 2.5 years of PPVs ~$900, Merchandise ~$200, Live Events ~$200, Videos/DVDs ~$150 Total about $1450
Back in the WCW days, I probably gave Ted Turner and Time Warner a few hundred bucks, between attending Nitros and merchandise

A whole hell of a lot.
And with the exception of a couple of PPVs, I really don't regret spending the money.
