Dusty said that there is nothing a dad wouldn't do for his son, right? And then say's "sorry John" and Cody/Orton attack Cena.
How does that help Cody at all? He was in a situation in which he could have won the World Title, and probably would have had the match happend, yet he just attacks the ref? What's that all about? I'm confused.

I see it as a parallel to the Horsemen. The Horsemen would do anything to make sure Flair was the World Champion, and wouldn't take it from him. They could just explain that Cody asked for it, so that Legacy could destroy Cena, and make sure that Orton would have the advantage.

Cody asked Dusty to swerve Cena. He did what his son asked of him. Cody knew he was stronger with Randy. For now

And yet, those geniuses edited out Orton RKOing Dusty.

Why's everyone keep saying that? They replayed the RKO before Cody came out for his promo.

And yet, those geniuses edited out Orton RKOing Dusty. And already had Cody say he sides with Orton, rather than build teh tension of if Cody would side with Orton or not.

CAW Rhodes should have spent more time with the Create A Storyline mode, because it doesn't make any sense at all.

They could just explain that Cody asked for it, so that Legacy could destroy Cena, and make sure that Orton would have the advantage. That makes total sense. If this wasn't DUSTY RHODES. You know, that guy who got his leg broken by the 4H in the parking lot, and backstabbed after a cage match? But yeah you're right.

But...this storyline doesn't actually involve the 4 Horsemen in any way. That was just an example, the "evil faction" sticks together until its beneficial for someone to break away/boot someone from the group. Dusty just happened to be on the other side of the evil faction/lone hero equation. Legacy has no actual ties to the Horsemen, its not like he's siding with his enemies, Dusty's just helping his son.

Everything that happened made complete sense to me.
Which almost made the universe turn inside out because it was happening in the final moments of a RAW.

I still say it'll come out some time later at the eventual breakup that Dusty knew how it would turn out and his real motive was to show Cody exactly what kind of person Orton is.

I just kept wondering......Why not have it inside a cage you know to stop someone coming to his rescue
C'est la vie I suppose

Definitely Cyclone... you almost wish they would have a gimmick PPV that deals with two wrestlers in an enclosed cage with a roof on it coming up in the next month or so.
