Remember when we would watch during the Monday Night Wars and anticipate promotion jumps. My favorite when guys would just pop in out of nowhere and WWE made their appearance look like a million bucks. Nowdays, we will never see any jumps from any established stars of TNA. Even if they try to acquire talent from TNA, they must be reprogrammed at the Flordia Plant. Plus whatever name they were using previously will be replaced with a first and last name from a random generator i.e. Brandon Walker and Marcus Corvon.
But, even if can be an exception to the rule and just get back on TV like Christian, you are going to be floundering in Midcard Purgatory.
Which brings me to my point. As much as we would love to see guys like A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe one day compete in WWE, it wouldn't be the same as when a WCW guy jumped over to WWE. Plus, even WWE's Florida alumni are struggling because midcarders nowadays are a time a dozen. Look at R-Truth and I have made my point. WWE's own hand picked Flordia talent are a dime a dozen on WWE TV.

I'm personally someone who thinks Marcus Cor Von is a better ring name than Monty Brown. Just thought I'd chime in to say that.

Monty Brown has a ring to it. Marcus Cor Von is just weird.
I don't know why WWE pretends TNA doesn't exist. Do they not have the rights to their names when they leave?

Well, obviously guys like Monty Brown and Ron Killings would, WWE just chooses not to use them. Someone like Low Ki, though, could not call himself Senshi. WWE's better served pretending TNA doesn't exist, though. If they ever get to doing 2.0s then yeah, acknowledge them (well, rather acknowledge you're taking their guys), but before then, what's the point?

If they ever get to doing 2.0s then yeah, acknowledge them (well, rather acknowledge you're taking their guys), but before then, what's the point? Because if someone else is putting work into making a star, then they don't have to. It increases the chances of a star being made if they're seen as on a similiar level. It's what made the nineties so great. Where would WWE be without the time Flair, Vader, RVD, Austin, Foley, Jericho, Steiner, Guerrero, Mysterio, Benoit, Goldberg, Booker T, Rhyno, the Dudleys, Finlay, Al Snow (head version), Tommy Dreamer, etc spent with the company? WCW died ten years ago and they're still banking heavily on stars that were established there to make new stars. Fact is WWE owes it's success by nabbing all the other promotions main eventers in the 80's. Hogan, Macho, Jesse, Steamboat, Dibiase, JYD, Jake - almost everybody came from another promotion and aside from a character tweak here and there they were the same people. It doesn't make sense to start from scratch every time. Why make your job harder?
