Welcome to the latest spin off of the Top 20 Matches Series! Here's how it works: PM me your Top 10 moments/segments of the event or wrestler of the week. The events and wrestlers will be chosen at random, but if something/someone comes up that would be quite repetitive of the prior list, it may be replaced. Voting will run from Sunday until 8:00 PM EST on Friday when Smackdown starts. Even if we use workers who are currently in TNA, and we will at some point, please limit the matches to the Big 3 that WWE owns. WWE, WCW, and ECW. Though there can be exceptions, and in those cases you'll be notified. Remember, PM ME your lists. Don't post them in full in this thread. Want to leave some suspense for the actual countdown. Now just to clarify, here's what I mean by "moments & segments". A segment would be any kind of backstage interview, backstage skit, in ring promo, goofy in ring skit, etc. For example, Eugene & Matt Striker's "Booger Promo" from Backlash 2006 would be a segment. Just ... hopefully it never appears on any lists. A moment would be any particular spot in a match, such as a victory, some particularly vicious move, a title change, or any match outcome. Do not send along "Stone Cold Steve Austin vs, Kurt Angle - Summerslam 2001". That will not count. If you send "Angle kicks out of three Stunners at Summerslam 2001", that WILL count. Orton vs. Benoit would not. Orton winning his first title would. If you need any more examples, here is the originalMoments/Segments thread. If there are any more questions, feel free to ask in this thread. So with that, lets' get to business. For years one show has been the flagship for WWE. The show that lets one know the state of things in the wrestling world, and more importantly the state of things in WWE. When it's been good, it's been amazing, and when it's been bad, well ... it's been REALLY bad. None the less, this show has provided us with moments and segments that we will never forget in our lives as wrestling fans. It's the show that screams WWE, and the show we'll be counting down the top 25 moments of this week. For Week 2 in the Moments/Segments series, send my your Top 10 for the WWE's baby... MONDAY NIGHT RAW Week 1: Summerslam

This is going to be impossible. Sixteen years of moments and its weekly not once a year like a PPV. Still, I love the big, difficult lists.

Sent mine in, I've actually been thinking about this one for awhile.
1. "Everyday feels like a party" 2. Two icons in the ring at the same time, for the first time. 3. "Feel this moment, for the rest of your life. Feel it." 4. The Gambler makes an appearance. 5. The clock reaches 0. 6. "You ruined it." 7. A beloved figure makes his debut. 8. But will it put butts in the seats? 9. Exhibit A, as to why one individual was completely justified in a heel turn. 10. Shawn Stasiak, a Dairy Queen, cookies, and an Olympian are all in this segment.

Here are some clues about my list (which will probably change since I only spent three minutes on it so far:
(in no order) 1. Last Ride of the Horsemen 2. Yes or No? (Yes!) 3. The Hug: Hell Has Frozen Over 4. Baddest Man v. Toughest SOB 5. This is Your Highest Rated Segment 6. This'll Put Butts in Seats 7. The Best Parody 8. From THE Feud of the Attitude Era 9. Got Milk? 10. A Debut
Edit: Crap, someone beat me to the 'butts in seat' reference. Sounds like we chose many of the same moments.

Well this was an interesting list for me to make cause alot of the moments i loved back in the day have not aged well at all. But basically i was only able to do 10 so here are a few that didn't make my list that would have if i had made the list longer.
Austin confronts Tyson, Bischoff on Raw (if they hadn't showed him and just had Booker say TELL ME I DID not just see that" and NOT show us this would have been #1 NO QUESTION!), DX invades WCW, Shane Buys WCW, Ahmed freaks out, Bret Screwed Bret, Austin Stunners Vince, Trail of Bischoff, Dark Wedding, 1-2-3 Kid wins, Foley Wins, DX as the Nation, and to me personally the most OVERRATED moment EVER Austin's Beer Bash which i did love when it happened but jezz WWE has milked it so much over the years i am just sick of it. It almost was my #10 but then i forgot my ALL time most fav moment and had to chance the list. I also didn't include Raw is Owen or Eddie.
Here are my clues
1. "I have to go find it" 2. "Brother......." 3. One of the most shocking moments ever.........till we found it it was all a work 4. "WHOOOOOO" 5. One of the greatest Superkicks ever! 6. Got Milk 7. HBK's single GREATEST promo EVER! 8. "THIS IS BULLSHIT!" 9. " Who the Hell are u" 10. WWE goes to far!
Side notes 3 of my moments all took place in 05 all within the same feud. And Austin makes only Appearance.

this was surprisingly easy for me
pancake your ass out of here, a stare down, a brawl, milk, this put butts in the seats, the only time I've been shocked since WCW folded, superkick heard around the world, the countdown, the F-word, and an icon returns to raw

I have a question: would Mankind and Stone Cold visiting McMahon at the hospital count as one moment or two?
Also, what about Stone Cold riding the zamboni into the arena and Kane and Undertaker breaking McMahon's leg? Since they happened right after each other it would be one big moment, right?

Just sent mine. Unfortunately, I had to kick off some personal favorites of mine like the Kane/Lita wedding and CM Punk's first MITB cash in. I also didn't include the Owen/Eddie shows because I wanted to keep things upbeat. In no particular order:
* The bride didn't look too enthusiastic during the ceremony. * Yet another moment of Shawn Stasiak ineptitude. * Save Us Part I * "Thank You Rick" * Tanks for the Memories * Almost the last moment in Raw history * "I'll be sure to come back when the Lakers beat the Kings in May" * A really lousy investment if you think about it... * Icon meets Icon * "Ladies and Gentlemen, YURPPLE!"

The most realistic attack WWE has ever shown 5. Vince McMahon is humbled to end a GREAT RAW 6. KY Jelly Plan 7. Yurple 8. Vinnie Mac gets a PARTNER 9. "I came THIS close......" 10. One thing about my list is that every moment comes from a different year!
10. A kinda forgotten moment features the final time these two commentators would share the screen together. 9. Well, I'll just say bedpans and enemas OH MY! 8. A memorable title win, the only such moment on my list. 7. That superplex is to SMACKDOWN what this chokeslam is to RAW. 6. A heel turn that happened on the first episode of RAW I ever watched. Their match that eventually happened at Summerslam is a highly regarded classic. 5. It's not Katie Vick, but its close. 4. Vince does a breast stroke! 3. The milk and cookies! What a delicious 'angle'! 2. "We know Generation X gets a bad rap..." 1. Many people are going to choose Owen for this type of an episode, but for me, I chose a man whose passing geniunely meaned the epitome of sad to me. The only night EVER to feature Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels one-on-one.
