I was browsing WWE Auction page.
Then this idea came.
So, here's my question, how many PPV Chairs have you own so far? How many of you collect them?
Were they signed/autographed?

You know that these chairs normally cost 5 bucks right?

I own a 2008 Royal Rumble chair. A bit indulgent yes, however I was at the event, and though it was nearly two years after the fact, the price was not bad at all.
(the cost was 99 dollars, no shipping cost or tax)
Also, you get those chairs by purchasing front row tickets to the PPV. If there is a overstock of chairs (like my chair), they got sold for "cheap" on Ebay.

I have one from Summerslam 2006 that I bought off of EBAY. I don't collect them because there so expensive especially if like myself it's getting imported.

I own a 2003 Rumble chair- it's signed by Cena, Orton, Bob Orton, Bob Orton Sr, Austin, Sabel, Torrie Wilson, and Iron Shiek. I've sneaked nto several events to get all the autographes, heh

I have a WrestleMania 2000 chair and a "Legends of the Arena" chair from Francine's ECW reunion show this year. That one's signed by a bunch of guys. The 'Mania one isn't. Come next year I'll have a WM26 chair too.

You know that these chairs normally cost 5 bucks right? The folding chairs for fans at ringside usually have padding with the event's name and graphics all over it. And often you can buy them on WWEShop.com signed by a wrestler.

I have 2 Royal Rumble 2004 chairs and 2 Survivor Series 2006 chairs. Me and my girlfriend (now wife) went to both events. They aren't signed though.

I was on the floor at Survivor Series 2006, but I was 6 rows behind where the ppv chairs were. My friend and I tried to get one after the show since almost nobody stayed to take theirs, but security wouldn't let us.

SummerSlam 2005.
The chair cushion has Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels' faces on it.
...........there's a joke there, but I'm not making it.

Between that and Lillian Garcia (the nicest wrestling personality who once worked for WWE I have ever met) putting her pen away 30 seconds before I asked her for her autograph, the aftermath of the show wasn't too good. I did get it when Raw was in Wilkes Barre last year though. (The autograph not the chair obviously)

I have an unsigned 2004 Royal Rumble chair.
Which is cool, but the neater thing is that I appear on the DVD. When they show the chair that was reserved for Foley, look at the back left corner for a bald guy in a WrestleMania XX shirt.
That's me (though now I have a goatee).

I entered this thread because I thought that WWE had renamed another one of their PPVs.
I'm disappointed.

I've got a bunch of PPV chairs, but I don't bring them anywhere to be autographed.
Rumble 08 No Way Out 05 WM23 Backlash 06 ECW ONS 1 (05) ECW ONS 2 (06) Great American Bash 06 Summerslam 08 Bad Blood 04 (I actually have 2 - I had 2nd row cameraside and won another pair of tickets. One of the guys who went to the show gave me his chair back) Unforgiven 08 Cyber Sunday 06 Survivor Series 04 (my personal favorite) Armageddon 07
As for security not letting people take chairs if they weren't sitting in them: It's a cost thing, of course, since the price difference between a "chair" seat and a non chair seat is $100+.
Usually, the arenas mark your ticket to show that you should be carrying a chair out of the arena. at Survivor Series 04, my boyfriend found someone's discarded floor seat ticket and got TWO chairs out of the deal.

I personally don't own any, but if you managed to get a ticket stub from someone who was in one of those special seats and don't care to have their chair.....if you get the ticket stub you can get their chair obviously.
Only PPV I've been to was December to Dismember (yeah....that one) and they didn't even bother to do the special chairs at that PPV. WWE cared that much!
