How would you have booked the finish to the submissions count anywhere match ?
I was hoping for a HBK sharpshooter in the men's room on either Dibiase or Rhodes.

I don't think I could of topped the finish they did, unless it was something silly like an ankle lock with them in the path of a steam roller, so if they didn't tap they would die.

Well, the only other ending would have been the one I suggested before in other threads.
Legacy manages to incapacitate Michaels...even if it's just knocking him into a room and blocking it so he can't escape. They beat on Triple H to get him to give, but he won't. They fight to a production area or something, and find Stephanie McMahon.
One member of Legacy gets Triple H into a submission hold by luck (we'll say Ted gets the hold), and the other one (in this case Cody) grabs Stephanie. Cody's about to put her in a hold, saying if Triple H doesn't give up, he'll break her. For his wife's safety, he gives.
Then to be dicks, Cody hits the Crossrhodes on her anyway.
Course, that would have actually called for Triple H giving up...so that's one of the only major bullets in that plan.

My only problem with the match was Michaels being the fall guy again. I can't recall any DX matches in the past three years in which Triple H was the one of the two who was beaten.

All they need now is Rhodes to beat Michaels and Dibiase to beat Triple H.

Foley shot it down because it would have made his wife the most hated heel in the company or him, for listening to his wife.

Also, IIRC, it harkens back to a Rock/HHH "I Quit" match for the title on Raw...where Chyna was threatened, and HHH gave up. Then Chyna turned heel and joined the Corporation.

And the Foley/Flair I Quit match where Naitch threatened Melina. Guess Mick just saved that finish for future reference. And wouldn't matter if the crowd hated Melina for it since she was turning heel soon after that anyway, if she wasn't heel already at that poiint.

True, and he knew he was going to be gone anyhow, so there really was no way to lose going with that.

Would have booked something very similar to what they did. Loved the finish.

That damn HHH is burying HBK. Unacceptable! Practically dead for ten minutes? Completely incapacitated upon the finish? Unable to walk even half way to the ring thanks to Legacy's beatdown? Pus-shaw! He didn't take the fall in a tag team match, berries!

I'm surprised Legacy got the win (but it was necessary).
Michaels tapping makes sense (hint: what city were they in again?)....and to the Million $ Dream, too (did that get a big/old school pop?)

To be fair, since this reunion, shawn michales had made all the wins (Against Masters and first time with legacy)
Anyway, the finish and the match made ten of sense to me, first of all, cody trows shawn to the mat, later, they destroy HHH for 5 minutes, and finally, they destroy HBK, and HHH sold really well the beatdown
this run of DX has been great, they are making Legacy, and all his promos has been hilarious to me
It was all his fault!
