This time I'm in control, right now I own the streets, I got the keys to the city, that's cause I get down!
Yep, the former 7 Time Women's Champion Trish Stratus is this week's guest host of Monday Night RAW, live in her home town of Toronto. And she presides over a brand new WWE Champion, as John Cena made Randy Orton quit to claim his sixth World Championship. With three weeks until Hell in a Cell, will Trish put Orton into the Cell with The Champ, or does she have something else in mind?
Another former champion making an appearance tonight is Batista, and he has a huge announcement to make, which is being described as "career altering". Will it be career over, will it be a move, what will The Animal's announcement be?
Legacy got a huge win over DX last night at Breaking Point, making Shawn Michaels tap to a combination of a Figure Four over the ringpost and the Million Dollar Dream. It's 1-1 in the series, will there be a decider set for Hell in a Cell?
Kofi Kingston saw off The Miz last night, who will be next to challenge for his US Title? Will anyone on RAW step up to Chris Jericho and The Big Show? And as Mickie James recovers from her well documented mishap, which Diva will emerge to challenge for her title? Find out some or all of these answers on tonight's Trishalicious episode of RAW!
UK Programming Note: Tonight's RAW will be shown in the UK on Sky Sports Xtra instead of Sky Sports 3, so please check your DVR recorders and make sure you've got the programme set to record.
Confirmed For Tonight: Shawn Michaels vs. Ted DiBiase

First full, live TV showing of Raw I'm going to sit through in quite a while. Make it a good one, Stratus. Hope his announcement isn't he's moving to Smackdown Yeah, behave yourself, Dave. Quick, somebody draft some fresh targets from FCW to tempt him into staying on the red brand.

How bad will they get throttled by Monday Night Football is the real question.

Not sure it will be quite so bad this week - they're up against the end of the Patriots/Bills game and the beginning of the Raiders/Chargers game. A few people may tune into RAW at the end of the first game.

This week's matchup: any and all Breaking Point recaps vs. any and all car insurance commercials.
I wanted to put in "Awkward Trish/Mickie segments", but I bet they're only going to do one. ;D

So I guess the big feuds will stay as they are, and we get new challengers for JeriShow, Kofi and (when she returns) Mickie.

She'll be blonde, won't she.
Or maybe Molly can lend Trish her 'Mania wig.

I'm really hoping that Kofi defends against Miz again, and loses it this time. I can honestly see no reason whatsoever to have had him retain... well, in any of his defenses of it, but especially last night.

WWE.com, Shawn Michaels vs. Ted DiBiase tonight. I saw this post and for a second, my brain broke as I flashed back to WWF Superstars from the 80s.

I can honestly see no reason whatsoever to have had him retain... well, in any of his defenses of it, but especially last night. Well, surely that was a Raw match bumped up to PPV because of the Morrison/Ziggler being difficult to resolve, so I'm thinking they had the Fatal 4-Way to heat up the US Title chase, then Miz pinned Kofi but failed in his first singles match shot at the title, next maybe Swaggah does the same? Then Carlito (if they still care enough about him to give him a title match) then finally one of the three emerges as the one true #1 contender and takes the belt from Kofi. I'm fine with all this if they're drawing it out for a more interesting chase/payoff. My point is it may just be an early stage of the chase, it just ended up on PPV because they needed a replacement for the IC title match. My choice for final victor would be Miz, but I could settle with Swaggah.

My choice for final victor would be Miz, but I could settle with Swaggah. Swagger would be okay, but he's someone who really doesn't particularly feel like he needs it. With the way he dominated his MVP feud and the fact that MVP's been hanging with Jericho the past few weeks, I think a couple of good performances against Michaels and Cena (even in losing) could probably move Swagger past that. Miz, though, needs it to really be credible - especially seeing as how they looked to be setting him up as a new, refreshed and potentially unstoppable man after the Cena debacle... then they have Kofi beat him with no build to it whatsoever. It's just awkward. Also, if Carlito wins the title I riot.
