It has often been speculated that Vince McMahon does not like Konnan, stemming from Konnan's short tenure as Max Moon in the WWF. However, what if Konnan and Vince never had a falling out and Konnan joined the company sometime after WCW closed in 2001.
I think if he joined immediately after WCW closed, he would have been jobbed out having a similar fate to DDP or even Buff Bagwell. However, if he waited a while like Rey Mysterio, Jr., I think he definitely could have had some success in the company.
Konnan's personality and mic skills seem like they would have fit better in the WWE than they ever did in WCW, and I believe he would have had at least a U.S. or Intercontinental title run in the company. I could also see him in feuds wrestling for the World Title on Smackdown, but probably never winning it, except possibly in mid to late 2006 when Smackdown's roster was super thin.

Isn't the real reason he wasn't brought in is because he has a reputation of opening his mouth of what goes on and off in the company?

I don't think he would have made it to a World Title feud, but I could have seen him having a fairly successful run. His mic skills are pretty much exactly what WWE looks for and his merchandise would have sold well. Or I could have seen him being in the Mexicools. ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)

I'd say he'd have floundered about in the Alliance and been released all of about a month after the Invasion ended. Seeing as how I never really liked the guy I'm okay with that.

He would have been gone a couple years ago. I think Booker T, RVD and the Dudleys were the exception not the rule in that anyone gets a break in WWE and that "everyone gets a chance." Too many times I've heard Vince can't stand big names from other companys and while he may have worked with WWF in the past, the breakup I hear wasn't quaint and someone would have forced him out. I always think back to APA knocking the hell out of Public Enemy in that regard.
So, I don't see Konnan getting ahead and if he did, it would have been a 15 minute kind of thing.

Carlito & Jesus would've been the original LAX with Konnan as their mouthpiece. Carlito would've been 3x as over by this point in his career.

Ric Flair had it pretty decent in his first WWF stint, and in his second, they were hyping the ever loving hell out of him. If it wasn't for that, I doubt younger fans would know who he is. So I think Vince's dislike for talent that wasn't his is misinterpeted. As far as Konnan goes, I haven't seen much of his work to make a fair judgment on how the WWF/E would treat him.

He wouldn't have last anyway. He did have a bad attitude for a long time. He wasn't all that good in the ring from that point. The only thing he was good at was talking on the stick. Which may worked to help the Mexicools get over. Even if Juvi still went away fast. He still done a lot to get Psychosis and Crazy over. That is if he lasted that long.
But with nobody to really team up with him post invasion I can see him released in 02.

I agree Vince Mcmahon would had used him in a bad way. I do not think he would have done well at all. I am not even sure if he got a WWE offer. On a personal note I never thought he was that great. Very overrated but he still did leave on his mark on WCW and best remembered for his times with NWO.
