Damn. I didn't get to see a whole lot of his work, but since he was always on shows here in the northeast, I'd always see his name on cards.
33 is too young.

I read this earlier today on a Facebook group, but couldn't find anyplace else to back it up. Very sad indeed.

Wow. RIP.
To share a Paul E. Normus moment, I saw him on a REALLY bad indy show in the parking lot of a fire house. The funniest moment of the night was when the promoter put some of his friends (who were obviously untrained) in a match with Paul and Jimmy Jact Cash. Cash tossed one of the guys to Paul, who just shook his head no, tossed the guy back to Jimmy, and got out of the ring.

Bryan Alvarez said that Normous' heart just stopped beating during the night. At least he died peacefully in bed.

Damn it! We're only 16 days into this year. This sucks. I don't really know much of Paul's work, but any time a wrestler dies, it breaks my heart a little bit more.

Thats the first one 09 isn't it?? Lanny Kean, who wrestled as Moondog Cujo and spent some time in the WWF as Cousin Junior (part of the Hillbilly Family with Hillbilly Jim and Uncle Elmer), died at age 48 on January 13.

Never heard of this guy until today but he apparently lived about 10-15 minutes from me.
Way too young. RIP.

No offense, but I think it's obvious what contributed to his death if the story about his heart stopping is true. It's still sad. I've heard nothing but good things about him from others that knew him and saw him wrestle.

Never heard about the guy before but RIP Which guy was he in The Wrestler? He didn't talk, but he was either one of the workers at the BWO show, or his match was mentioned in the WXW card where Robinson wrestled Tommy Rotten.

I watched the movie after he died. He's in the locker room of the show where Ram wrestled dude with the mohawk.
