It's well known that there's a ton of love for heels, but not so much for the faces, around these parts. The common opinion is that they're boring, have no edge, and that fans are totally unable to relate to them.
But who's the most believable face right now? With Jeff Hardy having just left, and Rey Mysterio out on Suspension, who's carrying the torch for the good guys? Who feels the most natural as a face out of who is left?

Christian is a guy who's basically not getting nearly the hype as any of the guys on the main two shows, but he's been a dependable, consistent top champion on ECW. More or less turning a little into a lot.

You know what, I agree with the Christian pick. Stuff with Cena and Batista comes off horribly forced at times, and ditto with DX's "40 going on 13" humor and attitude. Christian ... it just all comes naturally to him. Great in the ring, great on the stick, and fans adore him.

Gotta be Christian. He's the one of the only guys who's face who is working for me in that role, finding a way to be entertaining/interesting and more than purely cookie cutter bland good guy. Second best is probably Undertaker, but I hesitate to give any awards to him because at this stage he just is what he is and it doesn't matter mostly. He somehow avoids getting thrown in the stale pile because he's a legend, and he isn't reduced to doing childish toilet humour or lame jokes. So my actual second place will go to Kofi Kingston. There's not much to his character, but he carries himself with enough charisma that I'm always engaged when he's onscreen.

I might even say he's up there very close to Christian.

I think Tommy Dreamer's is the most likable character. He projects enthusiasm, sportsmanship and humility without coming across fake or contrived at all. You feel his elation when he wins, and his sadness (but with dignity) when he loses. Kofi Kingston is a feel good energy rush that is tailor-made for a huge face in the kid-friendly WWE. Christian and MVP both do great in the role but have heelish backgrounds/attitudes that make me want them to turn heel.

Dreamer really does have that everyman quality to him that makes you want to see him succeed, and makes it easier to buy into him, even if he doesn't win much.

Christian was my vote. The guy's one of the rare breed who are natural heels and natural faces.
Tommy would be my second choice.

Christian was the first person I thought of when I saw the thread, so I've gotta go with him.

HBK wins by kicking children in the face while lettuce is in the air.

I'll also go for Christian. I am shocked with how good a face he makes in ECW, seeing as I always thought he just wasn't up to playing that role in TNA.

Christian hands down. I hope they'll give him a chance at being the WHC or WWE champion. MVP can be pretty good when he's not being booked poorly.

All things considered, I have to say Christian... and that's sad, because I'm not that big into his current run since returning. He's easily a much better heel, never was a great face, still isn't really... it's just that light on good babyfaces.
Now, give Morrison a year or so and he'll be a top face. And that's crazy, too, because when they turned him face I thought it would kill his momentum... kind of has, but the fans really like him and that's what counts.

Once JoMo gets used to cutting a face promo, he will be the man for a LONG time.

Christian is by far the best face in the WWE right now. I really want to see him on a bigger show, I'm sure Vince can't ignore the reactions that he gets. But he'll get squashed by Cena anyway ......

Once JoMo gets used to cutting a face promo, he will be the man for a LONG time. He is one of the worst talkers to ever get mic time. He'll never be a complete package, just keep him where he belongs: midcard hell
