Giant Silva was the workhorse of the Oddities.

Literally I remember of Kurrgan is his quote when you fought him in WWF Attitude's career mode (in which he was invariably a jobber). "Kurrgan always wins."
With that in mind, I say yes.

During the Rock & Wrestling, New Generation & Brand Split/"Ruthless Agression" eras? Sure. But during the Attitude era, when he was at his "prime," not a chance.

The Truth Commission guy who went on to wear tie dye and hang out with Insane Clown Posse? He couldn't even keep his job, nevermind rise to the top of it.

Oddities were over because of ICP and the awesome theme song they wrote and performed. Definitely. I have to give them that one. Kurrgan would of maybe been a good tag champ in the Truth Commission or something, but that is about it.

I'm not even sure if "no" is a strong enough word.

Just the once, thankfully. As for Kurrgan - nowadays, maybe. Khali is really no better than Gonzalez. The title just seemed more prestigious back then. It's surprising that guys like Jake Roberts, Ted DiBiase, and Mr Perfect never won the big one. Nowadays they probably would, especially since there are 2 belts. Back then, the roster was still split, just never acknowledged. On house shows, one tour would be headlined by the WWE champ, the other would be headlined by the I-C champ. Not that DiBiase should have ever been champ - it really suited his gimmick that the man who could buy anyone and anything never had the big one. Honestly I don't remember the Oddities at all..... From reading up on them, I can honestly say that take away ICP and the Stern Tie-Ins, and I think they could've had more staying power. Take away Sable, the ICP & Stern tie-ins and they wouldn't have been over. Kurrgan was pushed as an unstoppable part of the Truth Commission, but no-one cared, when the Jackyl left and Kurrgan became an Oddity. It was only when Sable arrived and the ICP gave them a catchy entrance that people started taking any notice (until Kurrgan and Giant Silva got into the ring, that is)Exactly. Outside all that, he was just a generic hoss. He might've held the ECW championship if he wrestled in today's roster though.

Giant Silva was the workhorse of the Oddities. When he was in that faction I think he turned into one of the biggest jokes in wrestling. His chances of becoming a big name were never going to happen following that.

With Austin, Rock, Mankind and DX as over as they were, not a hope in hell.

Yes, but only during the Kurrgan the Destroyer Run with Jackyl. I mean, his gimmick is no different from Umaga or Khali, and the guy is actually mobile. Plus he could scream at you in french.

Never as an Oddity, but maybe at least a main event push under the Jackyl.
Speaking of which, how did the Oddities turn face? One week Jackyl managed them and they were heels. The next week Sable manages them and they are faces.
