Most WWE wrestlers are among the very best in the world. Definitely with the uppercard, maybe not the trainees.

I've always liked the fact that he's so versatile in the ring. He can brawl, fly, keep it between the ropes. It baffles me that he's only on the developmental show.

It's a good way to feature someone and give them a chance to get over big. Besides, you want the young guys to work with talented and experienced guys to get better. Christian, Regal, and Goldust accomplish that.

Okay, this obnoxious smiley must be used here. If you don't like Christian, that's your own personal choice. Saying he isn't capable of anything is just silly, though. I think you misinterpreted his statement. I think he meant that Christian isn't capable of absolutely everything. Not that he isn't capable of anything. Unless you're joking and I'm missing that. I think it is implied with the use of the word anything. I think Christian should be moved next draft around though.

Christian's one of those guys who can pull off absolutely anything, and excels in every department - not many people like that. I suppose it probably would've worked better in italics. Either way...just my two cents.

Sure enough, I guess he gets more money, and WWE is of course the big league of wrestling. But given the trend, it looks like Jack Swagger is a far superior wrestler than Christian, he was only on ECW for a few months before being promoted to RAW. While Swagger is young and new (not taking anything away from the All-American American), Christian is a 3x IC champ, 1x Euro champ, 1x hardcore champ, and 9x tag champ, yet he's not good enough to be on Smackdown or RAW for some reason. ECW by it's nature needs one or two established stars working below their level to prevent it being a new, unknown wrestlers-only show. Kane, Chavo, Morrison, Hardy, and Henry are a few examples, and right now it's Christian's time. Sooner or later he'll be moved up again, and someone else will come in and take his spot.

One of my favorites and a great all around performer. Has really improved over the last five years. His match last night against Ryder make Zack look like a star.
Best in the world? No. But pretty close to it.

I'm hoping we get to see E+C one more time. Maybe against Jerishow, if they are still a team? We could move to a Christian/Jericho feud from there. Now THAT will be a keeper.

One of the greatest definately. But that goes to most of WWE's roster, even just the currently active.

I definitely agree. He's probably the most consistently good performer in the entire company, both in matches and promo work. I think he can do much better than ECW. He's in his element, the number one guy on the show, and well on RAW/SD he'd get lost in the mix faster than MVP.

He's probably there specifically to help develop some of the greener guys. He did well by Swagger, for instance. He's in his element, the number one guy on the show, and well on RAW/SD he'd get lost in the mix faster than MVP. He's the number one guy on the C-show. That's not a lot to brag about. As for how he'd fare on another show, it'd depend on the booking, though sadly, I don't feel confident he'd get pushed real hard. He's always come across as a very professional guy who doesn't mind getting bumped down if it helps the product (the Captain Charisma costume comes to mind). I think he could do very well on SmackDown in the obvious feud with heel punk, but also help give guidance to guys who need it, like Morrison and Haas, but he probably wouldn't be a main eventer anytime soon. Note to WWE creative: Prove me wrong, kids. Prove me wrong.

He gets on PPV every month, is the focus of a show on cable tv and gets great pops every week from 8-13 thousand people. Sounds like a decent amount of stuff to brag about. In reality they trust him enough to not have to worry about him on ECW. I do think if he was moved to Smackdown if Taker is out and Batista isn't around he could be WHC.

It's difficult to deem any one person as the best wrestler in the world, but Christian comes as close as anyone, in my opinion.
In ring ability, charisma, he can work different styles, as either face or heel. There are no weaknesses, that I can see.
His matches are always entertaining and engaging, no matter who he's in the ring with. Hell, he eve made Kozlov look good.
Hopefully, it is only a matter of time until he gets moved up to either Raw or Smackdown, and gets an opportunity to main event. He should have been given that opportunity in 2005.

Now here's a question I want to ask.
Even if we agree that Christian is one of the best (if not THE best) in the world today, is that due to an upswing in Christian's ability or a decaying of talent in the North American scene?

I in no way thing he sucks... his is actually one of the few Wrestling Tshirts I still own. Hooray misinterpretation.
