Why is everybody getting so emotional about this? Is it really surprising that he got arrested for drug use? I feel no sympathy for him, but its not going to affect what I think of him as a wrestler(which is good). I'm just going with the flow.

Don't know if this has been reported, but Jeff Hardy's twitter page has been deleted. Can't say I blame him for that. He was probably advised to do that by his lawyer.

I do not want to bash Jeff or something like that, but if you have that many drugs you can almost prepare for serious jail time. I AM NOT SAYING JEFF HARDY DESERVES TO BE IN JAIL! I am saying that everyone that uses/sells drugs and gets caught deserves to be in Jail and just because someone is a Jeff Hardy fan doesnt change anything. In my oppinion Jeff Hardy will get about 5 years Jail Time. This sounds really bad, but lets just be realistic for a second. It maybe more if there is evidence that he wanted to sell those drugs This post is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok....
My wife and I were talking about this the other day.
She's of the opinion that Beth had something to do with the arrest in general, mostly for the fact that he was arrested and charged with trafficking as well as keeping a domicile, both charges that generally if the accused is in a relationship/married/etc, all people in tha domicile are at the very least questioned if not arrested.
Also, I'm not up on the lates news, but has he moved to seperate household from Matt or what is his official situation as far as housing was conscerned at the time?

Yeah, cause jail space is just infinite and when we put non-violent drug offenders in jail we don't have to make room for them by releasing violent offenders or anything.

We don´t live in the 800s anymore, not the worst one gets in jail. Everyone gets in jail that breaks the law. Every one that used drugs knows what he is getting into when he gets busted, so I can not understand how someone should free Jeff when he obviously committed a crime no matter what crime it is

Unless you think a drug possessor is just as deserving of a prison space as a child rapist. The primary purpose of prison is to keep society safe from offenders, and not as punishment.

That, and Jeff would get even more drugged up behind bars than on the outside. He needs REHAB, not jail time.

Having gone through rehab/drug counseling my self, based on the evidence I've seen, I think that Jeff's an addict. The biggest sign of addiction is when your drug use has a major negative impact on your life. He's lost jobs and been arrested. There's been speculation that his house fire was somehow drug related. He's been refused to board a plan, ect, ect. I'd say 95% of addicts will always be addicts and have to abstain from all drugs and alcohol to live a long, healthy life. It's sounds like Jeff's had some significant clean time, which is great, but as the cliche goes, your next relapse might be your last.
I think he's going to be screwed over by overly strict NC law. At worst I think he sold a little to his friends on the side, hardly what most consider a drug trafficker, but he is in the eyes of North Carolina. Which is a shame, because jail is really the worst place to send non-violent drug offenders. They can still get drugs and have nothing really to lose by taking them. Plus you get an education in criminal behavior. Court ordered rehabs don't really have the high of a success rate, but sometimes even a skeptic learns something that clicks.

Well, I'm not sure if this thought belongs here or on it's own topic, but here goes:
411mania.com is reporting that a Jeff Hardy DVD is tentatively (key word there) set for release on Dec. 15. Obviously, a lot hinges on Jeff's legal issues.
Guess my question here is: should the E take a chance and release the DVD regardless on the settlement of the issues or not? What do you, the WC'ers at home, think?
