This thread is for doubters, not for Matt Hardy marks looking to pick an argument.
We are not here to argue whether Matt Hardy is great or not. (He is, by the way. In his own particular way.)
Specifically for those people who don't think he's world champ material yet, what would it take to make you a believer? A new look? New clothes? New gimmick? Different moveset? Different promos? Share your thoughts here.

In an age where the immoble Khali, the robotic Orton, and the bland Cena can be multi-time world champions, I'm honestly surprised Matt's never hit those heights.
I'd let him write his own promos, for a start. It's been said over and over that the guy just isn't very good reciting someone else's words, so let him just be himself.
He obviously needs to get himself back into fighting shape, but I've got no issues with the hair. It's no worse than DX's thinning weaves, or Punk's ratty mane.

Matt is a solid, yet rarely spectacular worker. That can never work as a babyface champ. Matt, with his current skillset and moves would have to be a heel.

If every other wrestler in the world quit at the exact same time, then, maybe, MAYBE, Matt Hardy could be a contender for the IC Title again. Never a World Champ though.....

Win either Royal Rumble or MITB.
Have a major feud against someone like Orton, HHH, Cena, etc (Feuds with HHH and Orton quickly propelled Jeff into the main event level in late 07/early 08)
New theme song
Go against Undertaker in a casket match (even if he loses, it would give him more exposure)
Ditto HBK/Ladder Match
Make him the 3rd member of 2009 DX

Dave the Dave: Well, as far as the tights go, he at least has 2...the black ones and (unless my partial colorblindness is affecting me) a blue pair he wore in his first or second match back from the stomach surgery.
