I'm afraid it will be Triple H, Batista or Cena. I'd like to see someone win did not yet win the WWE Heavyweight or WCW Title, such as Christian, Ziggler, Morrison or even Lance Hoyt. Why not? If they could push Diesel (=Kevin Nash without his micwork) they could easily push Hoyt, who is agile AND big.

John Cena will win while still the champion, and main event Wrestlemania against himself. See, this is unlikely. If John Cena faced himself, the odds wouldn't be against him, and we all know that that's not how Cena operates. The world would implode

Orton or Triple H. I have a bad feeling we're going to see another Cena/Orton/Triple H match for the title at mania.

Hopefully Edge if he's back by then.
I'd rather not see any of the usual suspects win the Rumble again. I didn't like this years as it was a bit obvious as to who would prevail.

Wishful hoping wants Jericho to have the title , and a face Edge makes a surprise return, wins the Rumble and they fight at WrestleMania.
If Edge is 100%, wow what a match...

I know its still almost 4 months away but who can you see winning The Royal Rumble? Personally I hope they use it to elevate someone new into the main event scene. Personally I'm hoping for MVP or Christian. More left field could be John Morrison or Kofi Kingston too. I just hope it's not a predictable winner like Orton or Cena or Triple H. I would really love to see Christian win it once again. I feel it could be one hell of a moment if you ask me.

John Cena will win while still the champion, and main event Wrestlemania against himself. After the match, he'll cash in Money in the Bank on himself. The match will be performed onstage in front of a brick wall with a single spotlight on him. It will come to be known as "The Cena Monologues," a gutsy and honest one-man show about a wrestler with mime face paint, a top hat, and several handfuls of glitter. It'll be the talk of Broadway for years to come.

Anyone think that eventually John Cena will go insane? He keeps talking about never quitting and always being the underdog...when he's actually the overdog.

He's the only one I can see from the midcard being elevated. If not him, a returning Edge, but only if Jericho is champ heading into Mania.

I can only see HHH/Batista/Cena/Orton winning of the current guys. I'd be very happy to see Jericho win but there'd be no chance he'd win the title at Mania- probably see the usual "extra guy added for bizarre reason" thing done, probably one of the above usual crowd, if the title was to change hands.
Face Edge I could see returning to win but I doubt that he will.
If Taker wins the WHC I could maybe see Punk winning the Rumble and moving to Raw, but I think thats rather unlikely.

Not unless Orton gets eliminated first I don't think. Until then, their main purpose is to prevent Orton from getting eliminated, sacrificing themselves in the process (which succeeded at this year's Rumble).

I just list names and my thoughts:
Randy Orton - I don't see him winning 2 years in a row.
John Cena - He interesting because he wasn't in there last year and would WWE hold Cena out of 2 straight Rumble matches? It's a toss up between him being in another title match and Rumble match, I'm leaning towards being in another title match.
Triple H - He's always a favorite to win and he hasn't won since what 02? So would it be that bad if he won?
Batista - I just don't see him winning. I see him in the rumbel match, but not winning, most likely planting the seed for his Mania feud.
Chris Jericho - It would be nice since he's never won it. I could also see him in a title match at the Rumble.
Edge - If 100% he's a favorite, but if he isn't I could see him getting Jericho eliminated or cost Jericho the title, if Jericho is in a title match.
Shawn Michaels - Would be awesome and really cool, but I kind of see him in a WWE title match.
The Undertaker - I just don't see it. He's another toss up between having a title match or being in the Rumble.
CM Punk - I'm kind of afraid CM Punk will get stuck in another MITB match, so I really hope he gets a feud started in the Rumble match or at NWO. He's also another guy I could see in a Rumble title match.
John Morrison - He would really need to be bulit up more in the next 4 months
The Favorites: Edge Triple H
The Very Close: Chris Jericho CM Punk
The Long Shot/Surprise: John Morrison
