I know its still almost 4 months away but who can you see winning The Royal Rumble?
Personally I hope they use it to elevate someone new into the main event scene. Personally I'm hoping for MVP or Christian. More left field could be John Morrison or Kofi Kingston too. I just hope it's not a predictable winner like Orton or Cena or Triple H.

Since I dont see one of the big names winning since they have all won within the last few years I'm gonna say John Morrison wins and challenges Punk for the title.

It's going to Triple H. Been calling it for months that Michaels will have the title by then, Trips will win the Rumble, and they'll headline Mania - not like Michaels's last match needs the WWE Championship, but considering Triple H will be the one to retire him, it'll be a factor.
And if that happens, not only is Raw dropped 'til Trips loses the title, but I'll change the channel on Mania before the main event. I watched from 2002 to 2005, I've seen enough Michaels / Trips to last several lifetimes.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say a returning Edge.
If he's not back in time, then I'll slip on my highly romanticised and optimistic hat and go for Morrison.

I'm going for a Face Edge if he's back by then.
If not, Triple H.

Eh, I don't see Edge winning, especially given how the last time a heel returned from an injury suddenly face and won the Royal Rumble his run fell flat on its face and he was heel again about three months after Mania. Not that Triple H is a great face in the first place, but neither is Edge.
I do, however, see Edge returning in the Rumble and getting an RVD circa 2006-style return where he makes it to fourth or fifth place.

I'd love to see Morrison win.
..but, I'd rather Morrison hold on to the IC title for quite some time. I don't think they need to rush him into the main event.
The way this guy is performing in the ring, he's going to be a big time talent for a long time to come..

Face Edge if he's back by then, eliminating Jericho last in a shocker.
If Edge is still recovering, it looks like Morrison is being groomed to get there. Depending on how the Legacy feud with DX finishes, maybe even Ted.

It is going to be Edge or Shawn Michaels. I am even willing to bet on that. I really do not get the Morrison prays. He is good on the mic and in the ring, but if they don´t build him up and just let him win matches, that is not going to help. There is no way Morrison wins the Royal Rumble. Only if they start a major Storyline with him in the next month.

It'll definitely be one of the usual group, especially if any of them come back from any kind of injury at that event. Pity really, because I can't think of many better ways to give a midcarder a huge push.

HHH/Batista/Orton/Cena, whichever one isn't holding gold at the time of the Rumble. Outside chance of Edge or Jericho winning, but I doubt it.

John Cena will win while still the champion, and main event Wrestlemania against himself.

John Cena will win while still the champion, and main event Wrestlemania against himself. After the match, he'll cash in Money in the Bank on himself.

John Cena will win while still the champion, and main event Wrestlemania against himself. See, this is unlikely. If John Cena faced himself, the odds wouldn't be against him, and we all know that that's not how Cena operates.
